Q: Book about 2 kids with telekinetic powers. Probbly from the 80s or earlier

Scarlet MariI don't remember much about it. I think the girl accidentally killed her mother(or a friend) who slept in her room that night while on her period. Her blood was drained out of her( I think the power had something to do with metals and the blood iron was what caused the power glitch. Both kids g...

Q: Is there any Star Trek episode that features only regular/recurring cast and no guest cast?

dennis_vokIn a typical Star Trek episode you have the regular cast (i.e. the ones listed in the intro), possibly some recurring characters (e.g. Garak or Lwaxana Troi) and usually also at least 1 main guest actor/actress who has a significant role in the plot. There's typically also non-speaking background...

@SQB It's a book with multiple editions where I can't find a decent synopsis. I don't expect to necessarily find photos of all covers, especially not ones that only have "yellow with black text" and probably no illustration.
I haven't tried to search too hard for covers in, say, library catalogs.

I thought it might be one by Ian Watson. It doesn't seem to be God's World, going by the synopsis I found.
Mr Noah and the Second Flood doesn't seem to have been published in that characteristic black letters on yellow Gollancz-style.

I see. You'd think that identifying a recent book with a publisher available would be easier.

Q: book in which man is on automated planet and programs "Squonk" to find something he needs

user132097I'm trying to remember a book I read some years ago in which the main character, a man, either lands or crashes on an alien planet and is unable to explore to find something he needs. I think he may have had an injury, though it's possible that it may simply have been unsafe for him to explore on...

Q: Story ID: YA with lizard people and vessels that burrow deep into the earth's mantle

Ben CrowellI remember reading this ca. 1974. It was a YA in English that I got from my school library. They had a mass-market paperback copy. Unfortunately my memory is extremely sketchy, since it was a long time ago, and I was a little kid. I remember two main things in the book that excited my imagination...
