Q: Late 90's or Early 00's Cartoon (Maybe Anime) with a boy, I think called Kenshin, who unwittingly causes a curse on himself

Bernard the BearI remember watching a cartoon on cartoon network in the late 90s or early 2000s on cartoon network. I think it is a scifi/fantasy anime (not too sure, it could just be an american cartoon). I think the protagonist is called Kenshin, I could be wrong, but he unwittingly causes a curse. It also had...

Q: Who has the better claim to the Iron Throne, Gendry or Jon Snow?

Tyler DurdenSo, supposedly Jon Snow is an heir to the Iron Throne because he is the son of a Targaryen prince. However, Gendry is the son of an actual king. So, is it better to be son of a prince, or the illegitimate son of a king?

Random HeroThis show is NOT Hypernauts, but looks similar. There were more kids in the show, five I think, but they did have gray and different colored uniforms like Hypernauts did. No mechs. Q: Book about a boy with magic ability - shapeshifting or transformation

NajaranaI've read this book sometime in the last 2-5 years. It might be older but I think it's written in the 2010s. From what i can remember the protagonist was a boy, possible orphan, being picked up by some wizard type dude of some order. The first part is them trying to get to the order school where...

scifi.stackexchange.com/review/suggested-edits/143072 then the other one should be removed
Before approving ;p

I was on the fence about it but better to have two competing theories with evidence that they are competing than remove one and then it ends up being wrong
On the grumbling front, you fancy flagging those NaA in the FP queue as well as leaving a comment? ;P

So it is a NAA right?
Was unsure 'cause unfamiliar with the show so better to have other eyes on it before sending it to queue
(also, you're so one to talk :P )

9:33 AM
I always flag in FP and/or LA
But yeah it is, your comment of why was pretty spot on too

You do? ... How is it that you're able to review them in LQP then, when you flagged them before they made it to that queue?
When both tabs aren't open I mean

Haven't you answered your own question there? :P

Ah so you do keep the FPGA NAA reviews tabs open until they make it to LQP queue before validating them
Classy
Also that was FP/LA but autocorrect based on frequency of use ahah

....

Not indefinitely and depends on the answer of course but y'know I'm only 10 away from LQP gold and it's tantalisingly close haha
On an unrelated note my work PC blue screened this morning so hopefully it isn't on its way out

Q: Did Thanos kill all Asgardians except Thor?

SeamusthedogAt the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War the ship with Thor, Loki, Bruce Banner and all that were left from Asgard is attacked by Thanos and his minions who then have a nice little battle. Loki is back to his back-stabbing self and steals a line from Tony Stark ('we have a Hulk'). After Thanos ...

Q: in the comics Did Thanos "kill" just Sentient Beings or all Creatures with the snap?

Richard CIn the trailer for Endgame Blackwidow states that "Thanos did what he planned to do, killed half of all living creatures in the universe" Now that line suggests that this was not just limited to Sentient beings (Humans, Asgardians, Krull etc) but that half of everything, from the tiniest insect...

And you know what, I'll grant you that some spoilers are indeed beneficial. Knowing that someone "wouldn't feel so good" at the end didn't stop me from cringing at how stupid that character is but certainly prevented a remote controller thrown at his face
Shame he won't stay "dead"
@TheLethalCarrot yeah...?

Yeah my biggest problem with IW is that is is pretty much guaranteed that it is going to be reversed in the "next" film

Oh it will, they're not technically dead and even then that doesn't mean anything in comics related stuff

By that character you mean Spider-Man right? I quite like him as Spider-Man but that improvised scene at the end is a bit meh

12:42 PM
@TheLethalCarrot My idea only involved changing it once. (And it was for the person’s benefit.)

Even once is somewhat annoying when it is only temporary

Many acceptances change once.

True but the temporary change to re-accept later on is what is annoying

In my case there was no plan of re-accepting.

> Temporarily accepting an answer to give it more exposure?
Temporary implies you would then re-accept the initial accepted answer no?

12:48 PM
There was no initial accepted answer.

Even so accepting an answer with no intention of keeping it accepted can be annoying
But that's covered on the meta obvs

You might be willing to bear the small annoyance if it gets you an extra 10-20 upvotes.

In the case of not accepting anything after sure,

What about Fungi and all those Prokaryotas? — user28434 30 mins ago
I'm not a biologist and the comics, for obvious reasons, don't detail every small little thing that may or may not have been affected... people want the damn world with these things

@Jenayah I'm not opposed to accepting answers (well, aside from this) but I won't accept an answer unless it meets certain conditions. It's actually slightly more than 90% though. Network-wide (excluding Metas) I've accepted answers for 7/77 questions, which is just under 91%.

TheLethalCarrotA recent question over on Movies & TV asks the following: Why are the books in the Game of Thrones citadel library shelved spine inwards? 2:15 PM
Not saying you are, nor saying I mind :)
Also hurray for made up statistics

Here I was thinking you were just mad that I didn’t accept your answer.

McGonagall? Totally not, TBH in your case I would have accepted none either
There are other answers though which I'm a tad bit irked of them not being accepted
Ranging from "OP admitted he forgets to accept", or ID without any kind of feedback while OP is still active on the site
And a couple comics answers I put some real effort in

@Marvin I think this is getting so few votes because people are assuming it is about the MCU and comics whereas it is just about the comics and so they are getting confused and then thinking the answer is probably incorrect

2:30 PM
It might also just be that the answer is helpful but not like super great or stuff, there's a line that addresses it no big deal
Not saying your answer is bad, far from it it's the only answer that could be given, but we've seen more "woah" finds (the recent Thor was a better answer for instance)

Well at least 2/3 users have made comments that relate only to the MCU implying confusion is what I mean
That recent Thor one was meh for me but that might be because I'd seen the interview before haha

"woah" is a meh term but try to come up with a better word for "stuff that goes beyond just reading a not-so-long comic" :p

Q: If a question asks say about Marvel comics, but happens to mention MCU, should the tags still mention MCU?

RajThe tags on this question confused me: In the comics Did Thanos "kill" just sentient beings or all creatures with the snap? It's tagged as marvel-cinematic-universe, even though the question is explicitly about the comics and not the films. Is that tag misleading?
