Hmm. Should I mark this HP question as a dupe? scifi.stackexchange.com/q/166625/4918 "How did Harry Potter treat his Aunt Petunia in her old age …?"

@b_jonas I think so. It answers the question. Even if the question is approaching from a different angle.

Q: Which tag should we use for the film "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets"?

GallifreyanThe film that has been released recently is an adaptation of the French comic series. The comic series was already present here, so we have the tag valerian-and-laureline. Our existing convention states we need a different tag for adaptations; most recent example I can think of is The Expanse no...

@Gallifreyan No... I don't think so. It encourages questions seeking scientific solutions or explanations that may not be on-topic. Glancing through the list of tagged questions, none of them need and would do just fine with their franchise tags. IMO anyway

Q: Where did the Fables get all those weapons in the first place?

GallifreyanIn the second volume of Fables, Animal Farm, we see that the Fables possess an enormous amount of various firearms: Where did they come from? Snow White states in the first volume that Fables are on a tight budget. She also states most of them couldn't save their wealths from Fable Land when t...

Q: Where can I request feedback on a potentially spoiler-filled question?

Steven VascellaroI have a question about the ending of Spiderman: Homecoming which seems near-impossible to ask without spoilers. (See spoiler-filled question here) After reading the guidelines from How should I be indicating a question is, by its very asking, a spoiler? I believe I have sufficiently edited the ...

I've got a question about Spider-Man: Homecoming. Is there a good place to ask whether my title is too spoiler-y?

@StevenVascellaro "What was this announcement about? [spoilers]"
"What announcement was made? [spoilers]"
"What did Tony say to the Press? [spoilers]"

Those work!
Thanks

To answer your meta question, I don't think we have a place like that.
It's generally understood that sometimes there will be spoilers and we just do our best to provide warning.

@amflare Actually, I'm not sure "What announcement was made" works for this question

7:09 PM
@StevenVascellaro Thats fine. It doesn't have to be perfect.

If I remember correctly, the movie implies that [spoiler] makes a different announcement, but answering what that announcement is wouldn't be possible
I just can't remember the conversation well enough to say one way or the other whether she makes that announcement

I swear to God... this thrice-damned user... The problem is, it actually appears to be a legit question to anyone who has not seen this episode.

@Gallifreyan I don't think it falls under future works
As I said, I think the film made it clear on the conversation? I just can't remember it well enough to tell
(It is really hard to discuss without spoilers. Trying to be vauge)
Do you think the question as-is would be ok to ask with the modified title?
As it stands, I'm wondering if the spoiler tags make the post difficult to read

"Do we know if <event in past tense>?"
It looks fine either way

@StevenVascellaro this looks like Future Works to me. We're speculating off what's been said to answer something we don't see. Pepper or Tony could easily have said something completely unrelated to their engagement.
