@cairdcoinheringaahing Thanks a bunch for all the info!
@cairdcoinheringaahing Am intrigued by the low quotation marks. Finding it difficult to find the languages it's used in... I think Dutch/German so far. Any others? What do you speak?
@cairdcoinheringaahing Interesting! They do seem to come from German, or at least be often attributed to it:
Wikipedia: This style of quoting is also used in Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Estonian, Georgian, Icelandic, Latvian, Lithuanian, Russian, Serbo-Croatian, Slovak, Slovene and in Ukrainian. In Bulgarian, Icelandic, Estonian, Lithuanian, and Russian, single quotation marks are not used.[clarification needed]
This German double-quote style is also used in the Netherlands, but is falling out of fashion nowadays[when?] with the 'English-style' quotation marks being preferred. However, it still can be found on older shop signs and in most large newspapers.
@cairdcoinheringaahing Well know that the Tarpit's in full swing, I'm more interested in learning DIVCON and other 'roommates' languages first, like your roulette!
@cairdcoinheringaahing Jelly is without a doubt still a long-term thing of interest, though. Also still making my way through the APL competition and there's only 4 weeks yet
@cairdcoinheringaahing Haha, I just mean trying to parse your absurd example
