Does this need to stay separately? I think one can easily find some relevant literature on this topic.

Yes. But it is poorly written.
In the beginning you should have written "Because 1M is 1 mole of solute" instead "Because 1M is moles of solute".
At the end, you should have written "ions of $Na^+$ and $OH^-$" instead of "ions of NaOH".
@Martin-γγΌγγ³ Do we close answers as well? This one is essentially very much correct but I'd rather like it to be an excellent comment than an answer, even 3 users agreed with my view. I don't know why, few days earlier Maurice had written several such answers which were correct but better of as comments. He is an integral part of Chem SE, and I do admire his contributions. I had raised a flag "Not an answer", but it says disputed, so I was waiting for an edit from him, but it didn't come.

@SirArthur7 There are a few "ground rules" for this room. I can't find them on meta, which is mildly frustrating (maybe they should be written up again). The first is that we generally don't delete anything that is less than a month old. These are best dealt with by the community at large and there are quite a lot of tools for them to deal with it. As it stands, the first question you've linked is likely to be cleaned up by automatic system processes, see: meta.stackexchange.com/q/5221
The second guideline is that to delete a question, we usually need two people (not necessarily moderators) to agree on deleting it. Usually, one of those two people has been either Martin or myself, so there's some moderator... "input" anyway. But for edits, please feel free to do anything you want, of course.
Now, about Maurice... I find their answers often border on NAA and sometimes are fully NAA. However, they don't seem to be interested in engaging with the broader community, they seem to just write their own stuff and end at that. Answers cannot be closed, but they can be flagged as NAA (and again the community will deal with that).
Ok. The third thing that happens here is that, usually things (Q's or A's) to be posted for review are posted as a single link, as you've done. That allows them to be expanded ("oneboxed") in SE chatrooms. When the review is done (deleted, edited, or otherwise), we usually edit the post to remove the onebox.
And... that's pretty much it, to be honest. The rest you will figure out as we go along. I will say that we have pretty much gotten rid of most of the worst questions on SE. When we started off looking at closed / downvoted questions, we were quite prejudiced towards simply deleting stuff that weren't worth salvaging. But as you see from the pinned message, we're currently "cleaning up" open, upvoted questions. All the closed or downvoted ones have already been dealt with.
