@orthocresol Ok I get it now. I didn't know much about deleting posts, just knew about the closing. I actually had a belief that such homework questions which have been closed for long without any further edits are the ones first deleted, didn't know that the question needed to age well too.
About @Maurice I agree with you I mean, time and again I politely asked him not to post such answers which are better left as excellent comments or necessary edits. But of no avail. Maybe we need to praise the good and adjust with the bad :)
I'm happy that you guys have mostly done with the work of 'cleaning up'. @Martin-γγΌγγ³ looked a bit worried a few days ago, when he said that the task is far from completion. And thanks on behalf of other users on the site, we really benefit from the hardwork that you put in despite other important engagements.

This question is mostly about the human body, but it's also about life in general.
It's not difficult to notice a big different between the abundance of elements on Earth & that in the body. I've been pondering why. Such a huge question, but here I choose to focus on the big 4. Below is my curre...
I had a question about this question ;) uh, when I first encountered this I felt such questions which are broad and largely based on opinions are ones that aren't much well-received. I felt the custom flag "Opinion based: Many good questions generate some degree of opinion based on expert experience, but answers to this question will tend to be almost entirely based on opinions, rather than facts, references, or specific expertise." was meant for such questions only.
I had even raised this flag when I viewed it, and much to my belief, it was declared useful. But now to my surprise, I find it to be the most viewed and highly ranked question of the week. I mean given the creativity of chemists is it not surprising that such questions weren't asked before? Seeing that there weren't any I was of the opinion that such questions are not encouraged at SE, maybe other users felt the same way. And if this flag isn't meant for this one, then which one is it used for?
