I need to precipitate citric acid from an aqueous solution in the form of calcium citrate. There are, to my knowledge, two different methods of doing this:
using $\ce{CaCl2}$ and which will react in an unknown way
using $\ce{Ca(OH)2}$ which will react as such:

FC1 is $16.75~\mathrm{g/cm^3}$ of hydrated sodium carbonate $\ce{Na2CO3 . $x$ H2O}$
FC2 is $0.125 ~\mathrm{mol/dm^3}$ of hydrochloric acid.
Volume of FC1 is $25~\mathrm{cm^3}$
Average Volume of FC2 required to neutralize the base is $23~\mathrm{cm^3}$
Indicator is methyl orange if that matter...
@Martin-γγΌγγ³ I remember posting this in the PT asking for help cleaning it up. Unfortunately, none was forthcoming. I presume that is simply because nobody knew how to do it.
We could ask the answerer. I generally haven't had too much luck in engaging them, but it might be worth a try.
