@LdBeth It does work, can't remember if the installer lets you install the IME but not the interpreter, though.

Shouldn't a be 2 3 4?
Maybe it should be documented that names referenced in assignment will be unaltered if the assignment fails

@essielovett I have Dyalog 18.2 and it gives me 2 3 4
seems tryapl.org which runs a different version gives 1 2 3
@essielovett Ah, I tried the standalone IME installer but it seems has no effect

@LdBeth TryAPL runs the same version, but rolls back the state upon error.
