Is a hollow leaf an improvement? Compare the filled version:
The idea is to make the whole thing a bit less top-heavy, while also emphasising that the leaf is a .
08:04
tbh I miss when the leaf had a pointy top and was more part of the cube, simply from an aesthetic preference. I don't think the gap in the leaf helps
@RikedyP You mean the "kite" shape?
@Adám Yeah but I don't mind and kind of see this as at least making it distinct from other cube shaped logos in a way
Yeah, exactly, and especially from Dyalog's:-)

Two APL cops: Vanilla and Extended
08:41
@Adám Extended one has a wrong TIO link
@Bubbler Thanks. Fixed.
also found the crack for vanilla rather quickly, because I figured there are very small number of ways to satisfy the parser
:-(
08:55
@Bubbler A reason you didn't post yet?
09:14
Currently digging into Extended one
09:26
Found two-char substitution, but one char is really uhh
:-)
10:13
@Adám Technically, both the cop and the (presumably) intended crack work on Dyalog 18.x, right?
@Bubbler Correct. I didn't use any Extended features. I just needed constant⍨.
@Adám i think this may have given the idea away
@Razetime What do you mean?
@Razetime No, I wrote it after I got the working crack.
oh interesting
10:19
Of course, doesn't actually matter. At first, I had , instead, but I thought was more interesting, and Extended would only confuse matters.
CMC: Change exactly two chars in ≢∊⎕A⍨¨⎕A to change the result from 676 to 286.
(not using ⎕AT)
@Bubbler Meh, I was about to suggest A⍨at
My intended solution does require extended (doesn't work in vanilla 18.x)
Oh, well that limits things.
CMC: In Extended, change one character in ≢⎕A,⌽⎕A to change the result from 52 to 51.
@Adám Change comma to ellipsis?
10:28
Yes.

APL Problem Solving Competition phase 1 problems from 2013 and 2014 are being added to problems.tryapl.org
If anyone has some time and inclination, could you please try the 2013 and 2014 problems on oliverbazin.github.io/PracticeProblems/psets/2013.html and report any issues on GitHub github.com/Dyalog/PracticeProblems/issues ? Any help is very appreciated
15:27
Tweets are not limited to 140 chars any more.
