@EriktheOutgolfer Nice, but unlikely to help prevent mis-tagging. Anyone looking looking at the old text would realise the last sentence.
@EriktheOutgolfer Oh, that's you.
@EriktheOutgolfer imo that isn't gonna help at all (or even do bad as someone quickly looking at it would see alexa and not look at anything else). probably the only thing that could stop the tags abuse would be disallowing making a question with both the alexa and apl tags, but that's not gonna happen

@dzaima good point
@dzaima actually, that might be possible
although I can't simply put "Do not use..." as the first sentence, it would hinder the real description even more
@EriktheOutgolfer How about Be careful not to use for unrelated subjects that are also abbreviated APL.
@Adám I don't think that's any better; most people who use it wrongly obviously don't even care to read the excerpt, which should kinda distract them right away; I only added the last sentence for those who are still in doubt
CMs are actually able to manage tag requirements, btw
@dzaima What if one wants to drive Alexa from APL?
but I think that blocking [alexa-*] and in the same question isn't the solution, what if somebody actually wants to do something APL-related (A not standing for Alexa) in Alexa?
like, ^^
18:42
@EriktheOutgolfer half of the reason i said "that's not gonna happen". really you'd want a warning or something
i don't think asking a question on stackoverflow asking help for APL and alexa both at the same time would result in any help
@dzaima warnings are also a thing
@EriktheOutgolfer oh huh
— Alexa, how do I make all bits after the first zero into ones in a Boolean vector in APL?
— Less-than-or-equal-to scan.
@Adám are you sure she won't say "Less than or equal to, expand"? :P
@EriktheOutgolfer That'd be wrong.
18:49
@Adám expand and scan are the same symbol, she might get confused
@EriktheOutgolfer ..hence why asking a stackoverflow question? :P
19:05
Actually, it probably would be very hard to program Alexa to recognise APL symbol names so you could spell an APL expression and have her compute it using TIO or TryAPL.
