@monobogdan - Zorin OS is also Ubuntu-based. And is still off-topic here. On AskUbuntu, only the distributions that are recognized officially by Canonical, can be discussed. Other Ubuntu-based distros may present important differences from Ubuntu. Therefore, the advices we give you may not work on your distro.
Unless you know what you're doing and want to muck around with proprietary drivers a bit, which gets me about 170FPS in CS:GO and 90 in Skyrim, so I'm happy.
@monobogdan - I've visited it, but I still don't get it. What do you imply? That users on their forum are cursing? Well, having a poor education and plentifully showing it is their problem, not ours, not here, on AskUbuntu. Otherwise, the site you've mentioned looks just fine. Anyway, regarding your problem with the games, my friendly advice for you would be to create a dual-boot with Linux and Windows. Make Linux your main OS and use Windows just for games. (Of course, you should install several good security programs). Linux will give you security and Windows will come with the fun.
@monobogdan - Well, it's true that Windows has its way of imposing itself over other OSs. And, as far as I can remember, the best method is to install Windows first and then Linux. So, yes, you can use them both. You install Windows (on a partition) and then, you can install Ubuntu alongside Windows.
@monobogdan This is still an English website on the chat room, and we still don't permit rudeness or spamming. Either continue your discussion you were having on the question originally here, or I'm happy to leave this discussion frozen and leave it to rot for eternity.
