It's too bad codegolf.stackexchange.com/questions/97472/… got closed. I had a sed/Hexagony answer that I missed posting by a few seconds.

@seshoumara Do you know where to find the meta post that allows sed to take an empty string when no input is allowed?

That question was interesting. I don't know Hexagony, so I wonder what does /$/ctrick does in it?
Especially # since it marks a comment in many many languages.
@DigitalTrauma Welcome to the chat room! Dennis added sed recently to TIO, and if I remember well my last conversation with him, he plans to add bash and most likely dc as well in the next version of TIO.

This is more of an ask now, get reply later kind of room and you are always welcome. Maybe you can find useful the automated answer feeds in bash, sed and dc languages.

@seshoumara Hexagony is a 2D language. The / redirects the instruction pointer up and to the left. It's the same priciple that I used here: codegolf.stackexchange.com/a/97562/57100
It never reaches the #
The expanded hex would look like this: hexagony.tryitonline.net/…
I see.
The order that it gets executed is: /;|t;r$;e\;/a;t|k\t;@
You're on fire, learning new languages that quick.
Hexagony looks quite hard to program in, since it's 2D.
I'm taking some weeks off from SE, but I will still reply to this chat, with some delays.
17:15
I don't really know the language. All I know is that letters put their ASCII value in memory, ';' outputs the character that corresponds to the value in memory, and the mirrors reflect the instruction pointer.
Are you working on something cool while you're gone?
Forgot to mention, that this chat room is yours as much as mine, so if you see someone new showing up here you can if you want to welcome him.
I just took a break, probably I will, I'll tell you if so. I'll be playing a lot of chess most likely, it's my main hobby.
I never got the hang of chess. I can beat my friends once in awhile, but it's usually luck.
"hope chess" as it's usually called :) I'm an amateur as well.
If you are interested we could play a game online. I know a site where it allows guests.
I'm a little busy now, and I'm not good enough for it to be fun for either of us.
Whenever you can. I'll remind you. And it doesn't matter your level of play, I enjoy the play itself.

@Dennis I was playing with sed.tryitonline.net - I assume you know the e eval qualifier to sed's s/// command - this allows running of somewhat arbitrary code on the server. I don't know how well you have all this sandboxed, etc - I just wanted to draw this potential security backdoor to your attention
18:09
@DigitalTrauma There seems to be at least some protection. sed.tryitonline.net/…

A: The Rule of Thumb for Title Capitalization

RileyGNU sed 81 74 73 Bytes Includes +1 for -r s/\b./\u&/g :;s/.(And?|A[st]?|The|By|But|[FN]or|In|O[fnr]|To|Up) /\L&/;t The first line capitalizes the first letter of every word. The second switches all of the required words back to lowercase. Try it Online!

@DigitalTrauma The e command and the e flag for the s command were the initial reasons why Dennis didn't want to implement sed to TIO until v2. But he said he found a way, so yes, he definitely knows. Version 2 he said we'll have an even better sandbox.
That's why he didn't added bash yet.
The r,R,w and W commands are also a possible security issue, haven't tried those.

It's back open :)

Rileysed / Hexagony 32 bytes /$/ctrick #;/;\t.t.ae..|..;..;@ sed Try it Online! The first line prints trick if there is an empty string at the end of input. (sed doesn't do anything if there isn't input, but a blank line on stdin is allowed in this case) Example run: $ echo | sed -f TrickOrT...
