Yay for a correct -nl 2 run! (boo for the -nl 3)...
Interestingly, if I throw the --no-checks flag on the compile line (which has the effect of shrinking the binary), I can run -nl 3 though! -nl 4 still falls apart, though.
I'm about to time out for the night and will be out of the office tomorrow. We may have to ask @Elliot some leading questions to answer on SO so that he can speak for himself. :)
@Brad The results with --enable-pshm-hugetlbfs are pretty much identical, except that I had to install a library for this one. I've synced the servers to this build.
