3:24 AM
@Dennis Can you pull Triangular please?

3:42 AM
Also, why are some of my Triangular TIO links nonworking?

4:23 AM
@MDXF Pulled and currently syncing?
@MDXF Which ones? What do you mean by nonworking?

4:40 AM
@Dennis Error: the permalink could not be decoded. Let me find an example, I'm on my phone
1
A: Output with the same length as the code

MD XFTriangular, 9 bytes 9.(,%<>d] Try it online! Formats into this triangle: 9 . ( , % < > d ] ÿ Triangular auto-inserts ÿ wherever there is no source code to fill the smallest triangle. Without control flow, the program looks like 9(%d]. Explanation: 9 - push 9 to the stack ( ...

And the one here

5:13 AM
@MDXF Because you disabled output cache for them, and the permalinks tried to check a non-existent box after the feature was removed. That should be fixed.

5:29 AM
@Dennis Oh, yeah, it works now. Thanks

2 hours later…
7:42 AM
All arenas are running on Fedora 26 now. This means a number of languages got updated, which hopefully won't break anything.
5
For example, Python 3 is Python 3.6 now, not Python 3.5.
Likewise, gcc got upgraded from 6.3.1 to 7.1.1.
@LuisMendo Golfed it. Thanks!
Octave 4.2 deprecated the -auto option of pkg, but all packages that were previously auto-loaded have been added to .octaverc.

3 hours later…
10:58 AM
@Dennis Ah, you've upgraded Octave. I'll upgrade locally too to have the same version (sometimes there are some version -specific quirks that affect the MATL interpreter)
Since installing with -auto is no longer supported, I guess answers can't get away with using a package without loading it. Previously they could say "Octave with Image Package" and assume it had been installed with -auto. Currently, manually editing .octaverc doesn't count as installation, does it?

5 hours later…
Okx
3:42 PM
@Dennis Can you pull Neim?

4:07 PM
@LuisMendo I don't think it does, although Octave 4.0 + Image would still be valid. TIO arguably counts as an implementation though, and it still auto-loads Image.
@Okx Pulled and synced.

4:24 PM
@Dennis what criteria do you use to judge whether a language should be added to TIO?

There's no checklist. As long as I can get it to work and it's actually a programming language, I rarely refuse a request.

brb, checking what languages you've said no to :P

Notably Gaot++.

@Dennis Good point, TIO is an implementation, much like REPL environments are

@cairdcoinheringaahing TNB doesn't need help keeping memes alive.

4:30 PM
@Dennis While your in the room, I just wanted to ask about Boo. Did Fedora 26 help? I don't mean to be bothersome if you are busy.

@Dennis TrumpScript, LOLCODE, Emoji, Emojicode

@cairdcoinheringaahing Yes?

@Dennis they're all memes, yet you've added them.

None of them originated or are plaguing TNB though. I don't have anything against memes in general.

@Dennis *cough* memes page *cough* (jk :P)

4:34 PM
Yes, most of these originated and/or were plaguing TNB.
@WheatWizard I didn't try with Fedora 26, but I don't think I have to. /Library is strictly a Mac thing. Hopefully, only the build scripts have that path hardcoded.

Oh ok, I see.
I was able to install it on linux earler with not much issue

Huh. Maybe I'm just ding it wrong. How did you build it?

I don't really remember, it was about 2 years ago
sorry

Wait, I'm and idiot. boo appears to be in Fedora's repos.

Heh, I assumed boo was an esolang (that name...)

4:39 PM
Difficult to tell these days. I mistook Pony for an esolang as well.

A truly scary esolang that would be. TH̘Ë͖́̉ ͠P̯͍̭O̚N̐Y̡ H̸̡̪̯ͨ͊̽̅̾̎Ȩ̬̩̾͛ͪ̈́̀́͘ ̶̧̨̱̹̭̯ͧ̾ͬC̷̙̲̝͖ͭ̏ͥͮ͟Oͮ͏̮̪̝͍M̲̖͊̒ͪͩͬ̚̚͜Ȇ̴̟̟͙̞ͩ͌͝S̨̥̫͎̭ͯ̿̔̀ͅ

5:03 PM
@WheatWizard Boo!

Thanks!
Wow your nearly at 300 languages!

@Dennis Is the link to Boo on that page correct? For me it only works without the s in https, but it may be just my computer

>.<
I tried https and I knew it didn't work.

@LuisMendo For me http redirects to https

@LuisMendo Fixed, thank you.

6:00 PM
@Dennis Could you pull Pyke please?

1 hour later…
7:00 PM
@muddyfish Pulled. Syncing should finish in a couple of minutes.
Done.

1 hour later…
8:06 PM
I've changed the DNS entries for tio.run etc. to a different server, replacing the Fedora 25 main server with a Fedora 26 main server. Please report any resulting issues.
