@Dennis Am I allowed to use these chars (char codes 1212, 1122, 1313, 3311)? tio.run/nexus/…

@obarakon I don't think those are in Japt's codepage, right? so you'd need to score as UTF-8

^

Ah ok, thanks.

long term, TIO should probably do SBCS enforcement
I'm working on a language in which apostrophes are free but you can't have two in a row (basically, the character set contains apostrophe'd and non-apostrophe'd versions of every character)
and I bet someone would try to write a long string of apostrophes to get round the byte limit without realising why it wouldn't work

Yes, I want to do that eventually. There are quite a few things I want to do first though.

3:19 AM
right, it doesn't seem that urgent

6 hours later…
9:15 AM
@Dennis could you update Alice, please?

4 hours later…
12:48 PM
@MartinEnder Done.

@ConorO'Brien did you just break stacked?

oh goodness I hope not
did something break?

no output on any input
as far as I can see
(not on tio - the latest version from github)

that's really strange. what kinds of input are you giving it?

I tried 'Hello, World!' out and also bla

12:57 PM
ohh
that's weird, I'll fix that
did this push fix it?

let me try
@ConorO'Brien no, same difference

weird
any particular error messages?

no error message at all
just hangs in there for a second and finishes without any output

that is really weird still
what does running stacked -t do?

1:12 PM
All checks (299) passed successfully
Number of ops tested: 134 out of 539 = 24.87%

weird
on linux, right?

yes
it's the same setup as tio basically
@Dennis if you have a minute can you pull stacked on a test arena and see if it's working. Until it's confirmed would be unwise to pull on prod

@AndrewSavinykh As soon as I'm at a computer.

1:53 PM
@AndrewSavinykh No output.

@ConorO'Brien here we go. You broke something ;)

oh fun.
does 3 4 + disp work?

try node stacked.js -pe "3 4 +"?

error: 42 error ??

2:03 PM
@ConorO'Brien It works if I comment out "exec": " ",.

ohh
ok that should work

It does.

must be a bug in the windows/linux implementation of minimist

@Dennis @ConorO'Brien thank you

@AndrewSavinykh Thank you for catching that before it made its way on my arenas.

5 hours later…
7:11 PM
@Fatalize Not sure if this affects you in any way, but I've compiled SWI-Prolog from source and TIO uses version 7.5.4 now.

@Dennis Great! Everything seems to be working fine. I have 7.2.3 on my PC, I should probably upgrade too

I'm also using 7.2.3 for my local testing

That's the version I was running before, I think.
Yes, indeed.
