It's a semantic under the hood that you can't toggle.

the way it gets toggled is usage.
I think a site's main chat added feeds, then they got annoyed by the feeds, so they made another room for the feeds, then their preferred main chat started freezing up.
(because it wasn't used for over 14 days...)
