Orgmode rules, it's why I use Emacs.
room topic changed to Emacs & Orgmode: Orgmode is Emac's killer app - Fav-star the room and let's keep the discussion going! [org-mode]
here's the main site: orgmode.org
This is the main Emacs page: gnu.org/software/emacs
Orgmode comes standard with emacs

There are nice exporters: orgmode.org/worg/exporters
(I personally want to use orgmode to write a book...)
So I'm going to be working on this.
I hope we can keep this going...
I've mostly used orgmode to write talk presentations, which I've exported to beamer and reveal.js.
Here's a "Beginner's Customization Guide": orgmode.org/worg/org-configs/org-customization-guide.html
I like to use Spacemacs though: spacemacs.org
@SamWhited welcome!
So if you use Spacemacs, you can just add org to the dotspacemacs-configuration-layers in .spacemacs
And it will give you really nice defaults.

Hmm... trying to figure out how to add C with spacemacs...
