@DukeZhou Can you please also make the following tags synonymous?
1. should be a synonym for (which is more explicit, even though more recent).
2. should be a synonym for (which should be the main tag because it is more explicit).

Would that be considered a good fit for a model?

@DemCodeLines Ask this question on the main site where more people can see it ;) Also, provide details about the number of training and validation examples, your task/problem, etc.

Here's the type of implementation question that I think should be on-topic.

Q: Which ANN can solve for y = x * x + b?

Mike de KlerkI am new to ANN. I am trying out several 'simple' algorithms to see what ANN can (or cannot) be used for and how. I played around with Conv2d once and had it recognize images succesfully. Now I am looking into trend line analyses. I have succeeded in training a network where it solved for linear ...

The main question is "Can a NN approximate this function?". Then the user provides their implementation, but this is only helpful to understand the actual problem. They are not looking for us to only debug the source code or fix their source code.

@nbro I almost want "math" to be the main tag (shorter, cooler) but I can see the case for the more formal "mathematics". Do you have any strong feeling either way?
gan is a no brainer, so I went ahead and merged with the longer tag

@DukeZhou No, feel free to make math the main tag ;)

@nbro thanks, btw, for continuing to stay on top of this stuff. Small, but makes a difference over time. (I've been extremely distracted lately, but it's helped to know that yourself and other dedicate users have been minding the store though the "mod deficit".)

@DukeZhou I think you bring something to the team of moderators that other moderators don't have. Having different perspectives and competences is also important!
