Underholdning writes "DRM is coming to HTML5. The W3C published a working draft yesterday of the framework that will support the use of DRM-protected media. Ars Technica's Peter Bright reports on it with an article claiming that DRM in HTML5 is a victory for the open web, not a defeat. @AlanMunn I'm slowly looking at it; but the start states that Gutenberg invented Black Letter, which is false: books were already printed way before Gutenberg was born. The problem was that every page had to be carved by hand.

Do any of you guys use TeXmacs? I'm writing a report with it, for the first time, and I'm getting increasingly disappointed. Do you know if TeXmacs is alive at all? There were two minor updates this year, but the website and documentation is in awful disrepair and the mailing list seems defunct.

While it looked amazing at first, I'm starting to regret having begun this document with it. There are either small bugs popping up or I simply can't find the solutions to simple problems...

I'm also wondering why it's not a lot more popular ... the existing functionality is pretty amazing. Maybe it's too "GNU" to be usable for a critical mass of people?
