@DavidCarlisle I don't know. The real log has it there too:
   defining Unicode char U+259E (decimal 9630)
   defining Unicode char U+259F (decimal 9631)
)
(./kvoptions.sty

@UlrikeFischer you presumably have a line wrap in the terminal due to a file path, but I couldn't see a system dependent path around there so it seemed a bit odd (that linebreak is the only failure in the full set)

@DavidCarlisle Ah right. There is a system path in the terminal:
(./pmboxdraw.sty (./ltxcmds.sty) (./kvsetkeys.sty (./infwarerr.sty)
(./etexcmds.sty (./ifluatex.sty))) (./kvdefinekeys.sty)
(d:/texlive/2018/texmf-dist/tex/latex/oberdiek/pmboxdrawenc.dfu)
(./kvoptions.sty (d:/texlive/2018/texmf-dist/tex/latex/graphics/keyval.sty)))
Why is the dfu not installed locally?

@UlrikeFischer aha presumably needs to be listed to l3build as it's an unknown extension...

@DavidCarlisle yes, like some of the lua explicitly.

@UlrikeFischer good thing though is test suite passes (really:-)

7:56 AM
@DavidCarlisle ;-).
@DavidCarlisle will you add it and remake the test or should I?

@UlrikeFischer I'll do it, I need to tag a release and stuff anyway, will try to find time during the day. is hyperref also ready do you think?

Harish sends his regards to you all! :)

@DavidCarlisle well this could perhaps be added at short notice too: github.com/ho-tex/oberdiek/issues/50 (it is actually a hyperref problem, not oberdiek). The rest of the issues I checked needs imho more time.

8:17 AM
@DavidCarlisle you are the one suffering most so you can choose the timing - and if I can be of some help to implement a change, I will do it.

8:45 AM
@UlrikeFischer thanks, I'll look.

@DavidCarlisle I have some time in the afternoon if needed.

@UlrikeFischer I just did git push in oberdiek

@DavidCarlisle ooh the bundle

9:00 AM
I will need to rebuild as I changed the date in oberdiek.tex, if it builds I'll tag and send to Petra for Christmas.

9:13 AM
Good morning everybody all users into chat
@StefanKottwitz @JosephWright Thank you once again for your attention. I do not add anything else because I have observed the suspension of a user. I hope to remain calm in the future too. At the moment I am at school to have my students do a written check. Afterwards, I will go to the hospital to remove the holter and go back to school for the last few hours. A very cordial greeting.

Anyone else has a situation where a tikz image with some filled closed curves with also their edges draw, ends up looking like this when converted to PNG using convert from Imagemagick?
forget it, found a workaround (and remembered to convert the correct file). It seems to have something to do with clipping

10:46 AM
@daleif I once had a problem, but it happened to be a bug with the ImageMagick version...
@DavidCarlisle ooh a Christmas present

Hi all
I just wanted to report that something odd appears to be going on here: tex.stackexchange.com/q/462220/156366
And @samcarter's account appears to have been"temporarily suspended for voting irregularities."
Not sure where or how to report this.

OH MY
@Circumscribe: thanks for pointing the issue.

@PauloCereda No problem, I hope someone will look into it.

2:13 PM
@PauloCereda too many ducks

@DavidCarlisle oh
All hope abandon, ye who enter here!

@DavidCarlisle That would make sense.

@DavidCarlisle @egreg ^^

@Circumscribe actually no, I was referring to the suspension but just checked the link you gave and that looks like a spam answer (so I deleted my comment)
@PauloCereda message on entering vim, I suppose.

@DavidCarlisle Yeah, I've flagged it as such.

2:31 PM
@DavidCarlisle :)

@PauloCereda any info on what the supposed 'voting irregularities' consist of?

@PauloCereda Yeah, I just saw your other comment. Sorry.

@Circumscribe Please, do not be sorry! You were absolutely correct on your judgement!

More people must've also flagged it though, since her account is still suspended.

@Circumscribe I had privileged information. :)
@Circumscribe Fingers crossed, everything will be sorted out in the end. :)
@DavidCarlisle: what would happen if I delete my account? :)

2:39 PM
@PauloCereda everyone would cheer we would all miss you

@DavidCarlisle awwww <3
Strikethrough for some reason :)

I have a naive ques from this ques

A: Inset within Image

user11232You can spy on the particular region: \documentclass{article} \usepackage{tikz} \usetikzlibrary{positioning,spy} \begin{document} \begin{tikzpicture} \begin{scope}[ node distance = 11mm, inner sep = 0pt,spy using outlines={rectangle, red, magnification=6, %connect sp...

@PauloCereda @DavidCarlisle @Circumscribe ^^

Is there a way to regulate the size of the magnified image?
In my case the size is almost the size of the image :(

@UlrikeFischer That duck looks familiar (and she's wearing Hilbert's hat) :)

@Shamina Perhaps the magnification key?

3:20 PM
@Circumscribe There is nothing to report: that's a system message due to suspension

@PauloCereda I tried but it didn't work

@JosephWright: it was actually the one before you removed. :)
@Shamina Oh let me try then. :) I should've done in the first time!
@Shamina I think now I understand what you want, and I failed to make it work. We might need the experts here, like mr. @marmot :)

@PauloCereda Thanks. I also tried it. But nowhere close to expert..
Indeed would be grateful for any help from experts

@Shamina Let's see if mr. @marmot goes out of his burrow to get chocolate. :)

@PauloCereda @Shamina If you look at the example on p. 738 of the pgfmanual, you see that there are two (relevant) keys: magnification and size. I guess you are looking for size. Where is my chocolate? ;-)

3:35 PM
@marmot ooh I need to find chocolate

@marmot ^^
Now I eat the chocolate. :)

@PauloCereda That's not chocolate. And yes, you can keep it. Real chocolate comes from Switzerland.

@marmot I knew someone would point that out. :)

@marmot Thanks, this book is "pgfmanual": texample.net/media/pgf/builds/pgfmanualCVS2012-11-04.pdf

@Shamina Yes, this was the pgfmanual in 2012. Unless I overlooked a year because of hibernation, it is 2018 now, and the manual starts with Manual for Version 3.0.1a. You can find it e.g. on ctan.org/pkg/pgf?lang=en

@JosephWright this one, could you remove it, please? :) chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/message/47839261#47839261

4:13 PM
@PauloCereda ^^^ 6 more days to go. sigh

@marmot ooh

4:33 PM
@PauloCereda Done

@JosephWright Merci

2 hours later…
6:30 PM
@JosephWright Thank you. It wasn't just the suspension I wanted to report, but it turns out I had just drawn some false conclusions based on what I thought I saw.
Good luck with getting the suspension lifted/with your forced holiday. @samcarter

@DavidCarlisle should I look at the last hyperref bug?

7:04 PM
@UlrikeFischer sorry I got distracted (you know:-) If you have time, thanks

@DavidCarlisle I guessed ;-). I will do it.

8:00 PM
@DavidCarlisle I pushed a change.

@UlrikeFischer thanks

@DavidCarlisle but I forgot the version number, will do it in a few minutes ...

@UlrikeFischer OK, test suite running

8:15 PM
@DavidCarlisle I now also changed the version and the changelog - and now back to cooking ... ;-)

8:25 PM
@UlrikeFischer thanks, got the update and tests all pass, I guess yet another mail to ctan, they will have had enough of me today:-)

@DavidCarlisle I'll bet
@DavidCarlisle But most of it not your fault :)

8:47 PM
@DavidCarlisle ;-). I will close the issues.

@JosephWright no most of the fault is with @UlrikeFischer who keeps fixing issues and forcing updates.

9:11 PM
@UlrikeFischer gone to ctan I updated date in readme, and it seems I didn't tag the last release so you should see two new tags, I think I tagged the right commit for the last release:-)

@DavidCarlisle I'm not getting along with tags anyway ;-). I seem to always loose them (I think one need to use a specific git option to get or push them and I always forget it ...)

git tag -a -m release-zzz release-zzz to tag then git push origin --tags to push, I'm not sure I understand the logic of tags not being pushed by a default git push but that's the way it is:-)

9:28 PM
@DavidCarlisle I think one can set an option git-scm.com/docs/git-config#git-config-pushfollowTags

@UlrikeFischer docs ?

@DavidCarlisle google sometimes finds docs ;-)
