@MartinScharrer: It's finally up! texprinter.sourceforge.net I just need to update the SVN and Git repos. =)

@PauloCereda Nice job!

@PauloCereda: Can you write one which takes the MWE from a specific question and stores it as .tex file so that it can be compiled?
FTW: the following works:
  pdflatex -jobname somechapter '\includeonly{somechapter}\input{thesis}'

3:06 PM
@MartinScharrer Hm nice idea! I'm gonna make an attempt.

@PauloCereda: I might code a Perl script for that if I find the time.

@MartinScharrer Well, this is a rather late reply, but here are a few comments on the Enlightened badge. Firstly, it's important to mention that one requirement is that you're the first to answer the question. (And then you need 10 upvotes and acceptance.) Secondly, I don't know if you're aware that they've changed the rules recently. A whole lot of Enlightened badges have been awarded on July 7 around 3:30 UTC!

4:36 PM
GRRRR I always forget to use :set enc=utf-8 in Vi.

@HendrikVogt Thanks. I now about the first answer rule. I should have mentioned it then. I was not aware that they changed the rule. So you always get a new badge now even when an older one fell below the requirements?

@MartinScharrer: MWE feature on the way, I'm already testing it. =P

@PauloCereda Nice
@PauloCereda: Another idea I had was to use TikZ to draw some glyphs and convert them to SVG and then to a symbol font. I imagine some new arrows and circled numbers etc.

@MartinScharrer: Interesting, how could we do that?

@MartinScharrer That's how I read it, yes.

4:56 PM

@PauloCereda What do you mean by MWE extraction? Will this extract all the code blocks? (They don't need to be MWEs!)

5:22 PM
@HendrikVogt Hm it will extract all the code blocks from the question text.
I'm not good at titles.
I tried this question of mine and the MWE extraction got me 4 MWE's, but in fact they are not MWE at all, only code blocks. =(

5:38 PM
Hm I guess I'll stick with the 1.0 version and wait a little more for the 1.0.1 release. =P

7:13 PM
@JosephWright Ha, we just reached the "do you want to take this discussion to chat" message in the meta comments on the TeXworks ad!

@AlanMunn :-)
@PauloCereda I've mentioned you in my blog: expect downloads!

Is that image ok?

@AlanMunn The new version is fine with me, it just needs some votes

7:37 PM
@JosephWright wow, thanks a million! =)

8:21 PM
The TeXworks logo is so cool. I wanna vote twice. =P
By the way, certain ads could have some sort of sazonal priority. For example, when a TUG conference is near (and considering we have an ad for that), the ad could be more frequently used.

@PauloCereda Down to Jeff et al.
@PauloCereda It certainly is nice

@JosephWright Oh. =)
@JosephWright: thanks again for mentioning the tool. I hope people like it.

9:29 PM
haha found the first bug on TeXPrinter. =P
