@DJMcMayhem If we are making an interpreter which one do we want to fork?
IDK. Probably ruby because it's the most official
What other ones are options?
@DJMcMayhem Brain-Flog and BrainHack, I would prefer not to use the ruby because it is quite bloated and we don't really need all of the code.
Brain-Flog is a super simple interpreter
(Prolog and Haskell?)
Feel free to do whichever one you want. But if it's not in Ruby, Python, or C(++), then I can't help at all
20:55
If it's in Rust, C(++) or Javascript i might help. I'm bored and none of the code golf challanges intrest me at the moment :p
Eh we can just write it from the ground up. It's not that hard, and I've built brain-flak interpreters a dozen times
I don't care which language amoung Ruby, Python, or C++, I know them all.
I don't know Rust, C or Javascript though
I'd vote Python
Although I don't know how much I'll contribute anyway
That's fine. We probably don't need an army anyway
Actually, I'd enjoy doing the first part of it, if that's OK
(Unless you really really wanted to write it)
Sure go ahead. I don't like programming that much.

What are we going to name it?
I'm really not sure yet
I guess we'll figure it out later, I don't care too much
Well we do need to name the repository ..
@HeebyJeebyMan Which reminds me, we have so many different variations on brain-flak. I think we should collect them (and links if possible) somewhere.
Yrah, an esolangs page would probably be a good place
21:00
Or here
Or even
That might be good too
Which one?
the second
If we compiled a list of relevant variations in here, I'd be happy to edit them into several different places
Ok I'll have to sift through my repos
21:03
Let's see. Off the top of my head, we have:
- Pain-flak
- Brain-Flueue
- Lambdaflak
- Flakcats
- Brain-flak Classic
Oh yeah, rand-flak
I don't think I got very far with that one

|Push 2        | --> Decrement |
|Push 2 again  | Decrement <-- |
   (()())         {({}[()])}
Unbalanced?
It is not really a derivative more just enspired
self-star...
@HeebyJeebyMan More like something for here
Oh yeah, mini-flak and sad-flak
Sad-flak IMO is the most interesting of all of these
And I have to get around to publishing my proof that Microflak is TC
Remind me what microflak is?
I still don't understand sad-flak
21:07
I never used it a whole lot, but it's basically simplified brain-flak mixed with stackylogic IIRC. Most of the branching and stuff is done through line-numbers
@DJMcMayhem <>,{...},{}, and (...)
No ()?
Nope that's the beauty
