@Kepotx Use lots of vertical and horizontal separators in a code block

work in chat, not in answer, several spaces seems to be replaced by a unique one
and there is a way to make grid by indenting a pipe-separeted structure with fours space, but it seems broken inside spoilers

You need to lead every line with four spaces

my grid work well outside spoilers but not inside

KepotxWhat we know: "Lady Winslow was at the far left" "next to the guest wearing a green jacket" "falling onto the guest in the center seat, spilling the poor woman's rum." "The lady in red sat left of someone in white. I remember that red outfit because the woman spilled her absinthe all ove...

if you want to try to edit it
i started to do it with alt+255 but it's rubish

Nope no idea.
Back ahead in the quarterly race, would be my first second place quarterly finish...

is there a meta to ask how can it be done/ask them to correct this?

I think there exists a meta titled something like "sand box" where people have tested a load of formatting tricks. Might be a chatroom as well.
I'd have a search on Meta Stack Exchange
Peter Snow confirmed

@Edlothiad I'll let you off

JAD
@Edlothiad looks weird with the asymmetric u

Well for some reason there I repeated "blurry pixels" when I intended to just say pixels...
Oh yea, I just noticed that

JAD
I guess there are supposed to be two o's instead
which fits better

A: Why does Jon Snow have dark hair?

John StantonRhaegar has white hair, Lyanna has brown hair, Jon has black hair. Those hair colors are a clue as far as I am concerned. Theon has red hair. Theon looks more like Rhaegar and Lyanna than Jon does. Aegon is not Jon.. Two babies were swapped. Theon is actually uuuopfr-=nb frsw '/L:Ppppp- )o90.,,...

9:12 AM
Flag it, not an answer.

But it's just so good...

Upvote it, bounty it, give it a medal.

That was my plan

JAD
@Edlothiad honestly, it is an explanation for Jon's hair colour
completely wrong

How is it?

JAD
9:14 AM
but I'm not sure what SFF's stance is on wrong attempts to answer the question

Wait go back, how is it an explanation?

It's not an explanation for Jon's hair colour, it's a theory push that Theon is Aegon.

JAD
Jon != Aegon => Jon's hair colour doesn't need to be explained as result from Rhaegar and Lyanna

It goes against canon, makes no sense and is a fan theory. That's not an explanation at best it's fan theory but more than likely trolling

@TheLethalCarrot it should be free to downvotes answer like this

9:17 AM
Lol
If you downvote and flag I'll delete. Then you'll get your rep back.

I flagged NAA already
Will I see it in the queue now or not?

JAD
@TheLethalCarrot yeah ergo, I guess it depends on SFF's stance on wrong answers

In my opinion it depends on SFF's stance against fan theories/trolling as answers and the second one of those is easily answerable

@TheLethalCarrot Maybe (no)
@TheLethalCarrot Although trolling in questions is fine, as we let certain users run free...

Shouldda waited for Kep to flag it, damn it
@Edlothiad Oh yeah apparently once you become established enough to do it you're fine

9:22 AM
Unless you're the bad boy B-)

I'm just happy that wasn't a ":P"

Wait why?

Doesn't matter

Lol k

Thanks, forgot to remove GRRM for some reason
Also didn't see the comments on that Q when I answered. I stumbled upon the GRRM quote, looked for the Q and then answered

@TheLethalCarrot It's good if you forget, I get to add edit

It took me about 5 times to edit it as well cos when I kept re-ordering them it wasn't updating so I had to remove GoT and then add it back to the front

According to the "Powers that be" if you leave it in a comment expect it to be stolen.

Oh yeah I know that but I didn't read the comments before answering anyway

@TheLethalCarrot Y'know it auto orders right? It'll come up wrong but when you press save it'll put the one with the most questions first (I think)

11:29 AM
Well when I was clicking save it wasn't submitting my edit

Wait what was your edit? TLC?

Put GoT to the start of the tags
It was at the end

Why?
What?
Now that's what I would call a pointless edit...

The original tag order was [ASOIAF] [GRRM] [GoT], I changed it too [GoT] [ASOIAF] [GRRM] cos after the 4th time of my edit not submitting I forgot to remove [GRRM]
I've seen you change it around before...
Also GoT first makes more sense in my opinion but meh suppose it didn't really matter

I don't think I've ever intentionally changed around the order of tags. I didn't even know that was possible.
I thought the system auto-updated with whichever has the most questions... Although if I have I'd love to see an example.
Maybe when sometimes I mess up the removal of tags and two tags merge and the order resets.

11:33 AM
Maybe I'm making it up then, I don't know

Ok, so basically. From the following meta, they don't live update only on a per edit basis. So if you just removed [grrm] [GOT] would've shot to the front, but since it hadn't been edited in eons (probably when [GOT] had v few questions, it wasn't sorted right

A: Possible bug in retagging

Jeff AtwoodI ran a process yesterday that re-sorted all tags from left to right in order of frequency. In other words, the most frequently used tag is on the left and the least is on the right. (and on meta and stackapps, required and mod tags sort all the way to the left) This only changed the current ve...

So if I've done it, it's cuz I've made another edit and it's added it into my edit.

Ah fair enough
My fault cos after so many failed edit attempts I forgot to remove GRRM

Ok I'm going to find an example and see if I'm right.

I believe you, don't worry haha

Damn that doesn't apply, whatever needed canning

11:37 AM
Why would you keep the history tag?

It shifts it to the front and attributes the swap to you
@TheLethalCarrot I had my [grrm] hunting glasses on.

Ah okay
Fair enough, wasn't sure if it was needed or not

Ugh I'm throwing in way to many freudian slips
Nah probably doesn't, you can nuke it.
Took your time there sonny, was about to nuke it meself
Someone starred the meme but not the fire and blood cover. I question our groups priorities...

Oh I was reading some SSM
I starred the meme

I mean it's there to be starred, and it's pretty funny (especially if you saw the one yesterday that had only the top 3 on there ending with May/Dany) but the cover was the star fodder today

11:43 AM
That's there for someone else to star
Can't go handing them out willy nilly y'know?

I mean sure you can...

Well I could but...

looool

Do you have something that notifies you when a review is available? Refreshing the page is annoying

Maybe
Not that I use it at work. Are you waiting for a particular review?
Argh I got an unsilvered bronze badge yesterday!
Although all I really need is the accept, and I have the only answer...
You may or may not find what you seek in the room where amflare goes to find peace

11:55 AM
No review just annoying cos I always end up missing them
I was wondering what you two did in there

We mostly just talk about petty things
It's also where I'm grooming my apprentice. But there can only be one.

12:08 PM
Lol, break the rule

1 hour later…
1:09 PM
Ser Davos trying to convince Luke Skywalker to fight against the white walkers

Lol I saw that but I couldn't think of anything witty to comment it with (I know you just took the title of the post :P)

I changed the title thank you very much

It read pretty similar from what I remember -.-

JAD
Sir Davos. tssk

Well originally it was Sir so I fixed that :P

JAD
1:14 PM
Davos, Lord of the Rainwood

I wish he'd stop editing that deleted answer

1:55 PM
Lol I think it's hilarious

The constant bumping is a bit annoying though

2:50 PM
@TheLethalCarrot Who're you constantly bumping?
Wow that apostrophe makes a HUGE difference!

It sure did

i love how this answer has almost more downvotes than the top answer have upvotes

"I fixed my car by buying a new one" — Eurig Jones Oct 29 '12 at 15:33

well, the answer is quite... dumb. or at least brutal

3:31 PM
+42/-145

So +130 rep still
If I did that right

JAD
lol
in a way, that's worth a gold badge too
be able to reach that amount of downvotes without it actually being deleted.

It is quite impressive

@JAD Saved by the accept
I feel like people are just bandwagoning on the answer now.

They probably are
Just like a lot of the highly voted answers too
The top C# Qs and As are all pretty basic and crap but highly voted just cos they've been around for a while
