@Kepotx 3 centuries are actually pretty normal for any dynasty which manages to produce at least 4-6 capable rulers. We have dynasties ruling for 500-700+ years. If we consider cadet branches of House Capet, they are still in power (Bourbon-Parma of Luxembourg)
@Kepotx No idea why he's all agitated. Bigger cities with Bigger populations have existed in the East
i started to read one fanfic that was quite funnt though
harry potter and the methods of rationality or something like this. Basically, HP is a science-geek who don't believe in magic and explain everithing with rational science. still better logic than original books
I also heard of a tv-show fanfic made by some mysterious "D&D". The whole premise was to make the first seasons similar to the books to have a big fanbase, and then change more and more thing in a dumb way because it's funny to destroy a masterpiece
For work do I sneak a change in to move common code to a common dll or do I do what I'm supposed to do even though I don't have all the information or a test batch yet?
Basically I've been told to put a change into a service but I can only partially do it as I don't have all the information yet nor documents to test with
So I could do a change I've been wanting to do which is move common code to some common location so one change in one doesn't have to be updated everywhere but I'd have to sneak it in
@TheLethalCarrot I got a mod message after posting a comment that was possibly not the nicest when annoyed by high rep users unable to notice basic trends in tags. So I created a custom comment. That's on the right side of the be nice line, and informative.
I assume if you can't follow basic tag principles, they must be new, and therefore need welcoming.
Whether it's because their mind was wiped or they have some other condition that causes them to forget the last time they saw a properly tagged question, they all need welcoming. And learning to read tag wiki excerpts, good idea will add that in.
I love edits, there's a reason I'm top this year and was the second half of last year by a country mile. But come on... The first thing I do every morning is fix borked tags...
At uni, we used to call it getting Naylor’d cuz professor Baylor had this really high pixel density profile picture, but was really few bytes big (his research was in data compression)
So if you left your screen you got Naylor’d
The image was insane, you could zoom into his skin indefinitely and never see a blurry pixel
