[ SmokeDetector | MS ] Potentially bad keyword in body (1): Dual boot with Windows error - Intel Optane by Fhanus on askubuntu.com
this post seems like an answer to me, but it got flagged twice. Am I missing something?
Yes. It's a duplicate answer/success report
More like a combination of top 2 answers
@Kulfy for which answer?
the answers here look like answers. Seems like a hardware issue. Not sure what would be best
@Zanna If you look closely, it's a copy-pasta of salafi's answer followed by Just Another Person's
Oh.. My bad
I was looking at deleted answer :facepalm:
I must need new glasses because I'm looking real close and...
10:25
Sorry. My bad
no problem! I did read all the answers because it looked like it was intended as a thank you comment
but if it is the same as any of the other answers it must be the same in a way that is lost on me and thus may be lost on visitors too
May be including all libraries an overkill. I'm not sure
maybe that's the concern

@Zanna That, however, would be a reason for downvoting, not for flagging. I think that what drew the flags is the "Commenting to add ..." part of the answer taken literally, as that it should be a ocmment.
I edited the answer and removed that, just in case.
@Zanna I also think that they look like answers. They are from the same author, so maybe they could be merged too?
@Natty tp
@BeastOfCaerbannog ocmment, good job.
13:05
@BeastOfCaerbannog well they make 3 separate suggestions, one in a comment on their own answer... so I'm not even sure they should be merged into one, but that would certainly be reasonable
@BeastOfCaerbannog thanks!
@Zanna They could be added in an ordered list as suggestions in a single answer.
@Zanna No problem!
@BeastOfCaerbannog What's your opinion on this? Should I go ahead and remove the tag? @Zanna
@BeastOfCaerbannog I've put the stuff from both answers and the comment into one answer
@BeastOfCaerbannog seems little use for it here but I think some poor souls are still stuck having to use Internet Explorer for strange reasons... wanna ask on meta?
@Zanna Thanks! Maybe I'll try to improve it a bit later.
@Zanna OK, but not right now. It also needs a pun.
@BeastOfCaerbannog "ocmment" --> we can use this to mean an incorrect canned comment by a reviewer, eg "so many ocmments"
I anticipate more of them now the review queues got a fresh bug feature
@Zanna Hahahahaha! Excellent idea!
@Zanna Well I was just stupid. I had the "unanswered" filter on in the tags without realizing it, so it was only showing 5 questions. Actually there are 31. They're not too many, but it's not an insignificant number. So I don't think it should be removed after all. Sorry for this.
13:27
no worries! yes I saw 31 and thought it's worth asking folks for input at least
@BeastOfCaerbannog :D

Is this formatting OK: askubuntu.com/a/1360190?
@RandomPerson nope
ugh I can't find a way to get it right
they want some sections in bold
yeah.. Even I am confused..
that can be done by using html tags instead of markdown to format the code
but they have used angle brackets to name the keys
which become invisible along with their contents if html tags are used :S
one way around this would be to find some characters that look like angle brackets but are not

@RandomPerson no need to do anything - already answered
answered by OP..
so are we not gonna follow the EoL policy?
it can be closed but there's no benefit in closing it
fine.
Edit button is not there in First questions review queue 🤦🏽‍♂️
So am I supposed to choose
"Edit
Improve and correct problems with this question yourself."?
@RandomPerson yes
@RandomPerson don't worry - they're going to put the buttons back, hopefully
there are worse problems that that imho
*than that
@Zanna I just use 3 review queues 😅.. so not many issues for me
17:44
Is there a way to undo suggested edit?
@RandomPerson the issues I noticed are in those queues
When I was editing, your edit wasn't shown to me 🤦🏽‍♂️
@RandomPerson you can click edit again and make changes
@RandomPerson oh... that happens... the system struggles with edits that overlap in time
17:45
@Zanna I know.. but it isn't equivalent to undo.. something like retract flag
your edit is much better. I approved it
@RandomPerson there isn't a way to do that
@Zanna Thanks :)
@Zanna :(
that post is funny... I upvoted the answer
I wonder if the post is a joke... I guess not
Maybe the OP is new to changing resolutions.
it must be an XY problem as Nmath indirectly suggested in a comment
17:47
The common thing said by people is lowering resolution improves battery.. so the OP might have tried it
is that true?
I never heard that
@Zanna They generally say that for smartphones.. Some phones have 2K resolution.. users change the resolution to Full HD to improve battery life
I don't like this change. I generally suggest an edit but do not complete the review and skip the review..
Now, it's complex to do this..
@RandomPerson yeah :(
@RandomPerson so 2K is better than "Full HD"
that's a misleading name if so?
17:59
@Zanna I am not sure.. HD < FHD < 2K < 4K. Does that make sense?
@RandomPerson yes
but "Full thingy" sounds really good
@Zanna haha
4K is also called Ultra HD..
that's more meaningful
OK
@Zanna I am unable to see the comment.. can you just share the link?
something like.. www.xyz.com/posts/comments/1235
Hey all, thank you so much for all the feedback. Lisa and I spent a long time talking about this yesterday, and we determined that it makes the most sense to add in the entire post menu to the First Questions, First Answers, and Late Answers queues (except for the Edit button, because there's already an edit action). I'm going to be working on this and other fixes today and next week. We'll get these fixes in ASAP, thanks for your patience. — kristinalustig ♦ 6 hours ago
