In this answer: askubuntu.com/a/1051854, is sudo apt get ntfsfix the right command to install ntfsfix?
Is this an answer: askubuntu.com/a/1048447 ?
Is this question: askubuntu.com/q/1344108 a duplicate of askubuntu.com/q/708261?

2:32 PM
@RandomPerson that command is wrong as I think you suspect, but in addition to apt get <package-name> being a wrong command, ntfsfix is not a package - it is a command provided by the ntfs-3g package which is installed by default in all supported versions of Ubuntu

@Zanna so there are mistakes in the answer which need to be corrected..

@RandomPerson nope :) I have deleted it
@RandomPerson yes

@Zanna OK.

@RandomPerson I will edit it

Cool :)

2:35 PM
glad to see you here. I was worried

@Zanna worried because of what?

@RandomPerson I think, given the way the body of the question is written, that closing it as a duplicate of the question where the answer was found would be fine. Perhaps the title would benefit from editing to make it clear it's about wifi specifically

Is this off-topic as it is about Ubuntu 16.04: askubuntu.com/q/1344201?
@Zanna Yeah.
Hey @Kulfy! How are you?

:yawns: I'm fine, how about you?

I'm OK.
Are you a bit inactive in the site nowadays?

2:43 PM
@RandomPerson I saw a conversation I didn't like much in the general room and noticed you had been absent after that.
yesterday evening we got very beautiful rain here in Chennai that started around sunset

@RandomPerson Probably yes. I occasionally browse homepage. It's been a while since I reviewed anything, though I might have commented or flagged a post.
I'm still waiting for monsoon

@Zanna Was kinda annoyed..anyway, I'm fine now. Maybe I'll spend less time in AUGR from now on.
@Zanna Cool. It rained here couple of days ago. Monsoon is near :)
@Kulfy Oh.. OK.

@RandomPerson I have edited it. Would you like to flag it as a dupe so that the OP and other users can decide whether it should be closed, rather than me hammering it?

@Zanna did you mean "I didn't like" or "you didn't like"?
@Zanna OK!

@RandomPerson I meant that I didn't like it myself. I was annoyed about it

2:50 PM
@Zanna Flagged!

@RandomPerson that's the room's loss
@RandomPerson thanks a lot :)

@RandomPerson You're still generous! askubuntu.com/questions/1109774/…

:)

@Zanna You teach physics, right?
(off-topic, I know)

3:00 PM
@Zanna OK. I didn't want to complain about it to SE staff. Mods have huge workload, so sometimes mistakes might happen. I've already complained to SE staff about some other issue in Stack Overflow and still didn't get a reply from them. I didn't want to bother SE staff with too many complaints or maybe I am just lazy to write a complaint letter :P

before that, I was recovering from my PGCE haha
@Zanna Maybe that's an overstatement
@Zanna You're welcome :)
@BeastOfCaerbannog haha.. I felt that to be a really good question which needs answers. So started a bounty on it. But I don't think someone might write a good answer..
@Zanna Is the emoticon a reply to Natty?

@RandomPerson Yes it is. I suppose that someone could change the source code of Nautilus, remove that option and then compile it. I looked in the code myself, but I couldn't find the relevant part (I'm not really knowledgeable on the matter). I hope that someone can do it.

@BeastOfCaerbannog yes, though I haven't been teaching much recently!
@BeastOfCaerbannog that's never a problem. We can always move off-topic conversations later

@RandomPerson I don't know what happened, and I don't think I should know, but in my opinion you are a nice guy and a good member of the site and I really appreciate your contribution. You are evolving to a good editor (well, in my opinion) and you have asked valuable questions, especially in meta. So, I wouldn't like to not see you hanging out here.

@RandomPerson hmm mods on Stack Overflow have a huge workload, but not here on Ask Ubuntu
@RandomPerson definitely not!
@RandomPerson no I was smiling at your kind bounty

@Zanna Hmmmm. I also teach physics and I just wanted to share this with someone. I recently got a Wacom tablet, and, OMG, it's so perfect teaching with it!!
In combination with Xournal++ it's an excellent experience for online teaching!
I thought you might be interested.

@BeastOfCaerbannog 🤞
@BeastOfCaerbannog Thanks a lot for the compliment :)
@Zanna hmm.. OK. Thanks for letting me know.

@BeastOfCaerbannog oooh awesome

@Zanna 😊
@Zanna oh.. OK.

@BeastOfCaerbannog It wasn't a huge issue. After posting this message chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/message/58261025#58261025, one of the mods asked if the user who asked this question askubuntu.com/q/1341523, was my sock puppet account. I informed the mod that it wasn't my sock puppet and also mentioned that mods have tools to check IP addresses. Then the mod said that they are a mod.
I said the mod to not suspect me without evidence and then the mod said they weren't suspecting, it was just a joke.
The details of the event might not 100% accurate as I don't recall the exact words of both of us who were conversing and I didn't take any screenshot of the messages.
@RandomPerson The mod then deleted the messages.
Text of this question:
"Please refrain from chiming in saying, "me too," or making suggestions that are not direct solutions on how to do this. Please limit responses to step you know will work because you have done it."
@RandomPerson Should this be allowed to be in the question?
