@BeastOfCaerbannog SmokeDetector deletes its own message whenever the reported post is deleted within some time frame (2 minutes?). Here most of Smokey's messages were deleted by Smokey itself.
Since past couple of weeks a spammer is posting stuffs full of abusive language and NSFW images. So I guess to moderate the room, those messages were deleted.

@BeastOfCaerbannog I have replaced my comment and posted a CW answer.
@technastic_tc This is not VLQ. It's a NAA (not an answer), since it's a link-only answer. If you've flagged this as VLQ, it will most probably be rejected by a mod. Have a look here about the VLQ flag: meta.askubuntu.com/questions/2545/regarding-low-quality-flag
@technastic_tc Indeed this is not an answer and should be flagged. It is a report that the above answer worked for them.
@BeastOfCaerbannog if the post gets deleted, the flag is marked helpful automatically, so if one flags an answer that is NAA as VLQ, it gets marked helpful and one never learns that VLQ is the wrong flag to use. Recently I started marking the flag as helpful (it's only fair) and writing a message in the flag saying "link only answer is Not An Answer, not Very Low Quality", but nobody who was wrongly flagging such posts as VLQ has stopped doing so yet :/ cc @technastic_tc
@technastic_tc yes, in the Low Quality Posts queue. But most of the flagged posts get handled by mods at the moment. Other posts go to the Low Quality Posts queue for reasons I don't know!
haha yes, but the guidance on how to handle flags actually says something like if a flag prompts you to do something, it's helpful. Don't be too strict on whether it's exactly the correct flag
@Zanna I am sorry for flagging it as very low quality.
But if we try to understand flag reasons in a literal way, very low quality sounds appropriate as it's link only answer. The link can assist the OP so.. it's not exactly "not an answer".
That's the reason why I chose very low quality.
From next time, I'll make sure that I'll flag these kinda link-only answers as not an answer.
What is the "Not an Answer" flag and what is its purpose?
When should I use this flag?
When should I not use this flag?
But I'm still not sure if I'm using the flag correctly...
An answer is "Not an Answer", but the flag was declined or disputed!

Related: Since moderators are just asking users to flag a custom "Link only answer," can we permanently make this a flag option? (not a dupe, that's a feature request and was closed as a dupe of another one)
This (old) post does indeed say that Link-only answers can be flagged as NAA, bu...
I think we can all agree, this sucks:
If you've been around a little while, you've probably encountered hundreds of answers like this in various forums, some of them even marked as "The Answer" by well-meaning1 forum admins looking to close a thread. We could try to enumerate the commonly-observ...
