Any idea what OP is trying to achieve here:

Q: Close file manager from command line with path argument

When I want to save or open file, for example in web browser, Nautilus is opening its save/open file dialog. Is it possible to select some file or destination inside this opened dialog using terminal (without emulating keyboard to write path)? Maybe it will need to be closed with some arguments?...
