This edit would cause the post to become a different answer. It turns a command to add a directory to the $PATH (which perhaps did not work for the editor because it was not put in ~/.profile or anywhere) into a comment to move an executable into a directory that is presumed already to be in $PATH.
I think this would be a questionable change even if it were made by the author... but in addition to clearly conflicting with the author's intend, the edit doesn't change what the post says that command is doing!
clearly conflicts with author's intent - I rejected it with a custom message recommending that the editor post a new answer instead.

@EliahKagan Since the original is not of very high quality (so a major edit is potentially justified), I'd say the biggest problem with that edit is the choice not to filter for /dev/sd. That's a substantial design change in the command whose purpose is not merely to clarify or explain it.

@Kulfy I think that's effectively link-only. It could be expanded, or it could be a comment. I've flagged it NAA but I'll retract my flag if I notice it's edited.

not a dupe, it asks for a specific thing that nobody so far has claimed is provided in any answers to the linked question, which as far as I can tell did not itself ask for that thing.

not POB, the issues can be explained based on facts and specific expertise, and such an explanation would constitute a good answer to the question

@EliahKagan It's not opinion-based but it seems to be off topic to stick Ask Ubuntu with his vandalized Windows batch file and expect us to debug it. After their programming questions get closed at Stack Overflow they make the rounds of all the other sites to see if they can get it there.
@EliahKagan I got a kudo from the OP for that one.

@karel The question I was saying is not POB is this question about home directory encryption.
