(unrelated to above): Today/Yesterday Tim edited almost all of their posts and added My pronouns are He / Him due to which the whole Ask Ubuntu Meta homepage is cluttered with their posts. Should it be considered as noise?
@user3140225 IMO it doesn't add any value to the existing posts. If that's really a noise, we should discuss it with Tim by inviting him in the chat (cc @Zanna)
@Kulfy I consider this sort of thing to be a form of self-expression. Different people engage in self-expression in different ways. I wouldn't like to see the general style guidelines that I apply to everything I post degraded by careless editing, and I imagine that Tim would feel slighted if his form of self-expression was deemed as unaceptable, especially since this is linked to a current contentious network issue,
@Kulfy I agree with @karel. This is in line with the new CoC. Furthermore, if Tim was convinced or forced (both are hypothetical actions) to revert his edits, wouldn't this add another level of noise? I think that if this kind of post editing is widespread in the SE network, SE should find a way to moderate it. I don't think that it's feasible to be controlled just by the community.
