I think this question is unclear. The error in the title was just caused by a typo
No clue to the underlying problem

This is a duplicate of this, which has solved the problem of the first question. However, in the latter question, the answer is not accepted. Should this be marked as duplicate nevertheless?

@user3140225 why not?
in general, acceptance is not considered of much significance for moderation. It just shows that a particular answer worked for the OP, who is in fact quite unlikley to be the best judge in many cases since if they were an expert on the topic they probably would not be posting a question about it (unless it's a self-answered one)
Votes are normally a better indication of the value of an answer
when it comes to duplication, the fact that the answer worked for the OP seems to me even less significant if anything, since the dupe question would be asked by someone else

@Zanna I was just unsure if the duplication flag could be attributed for posts with non-accepted answers. Your answer clarifies that for me. Thanks!

@user3140225 I see :) the dialog will allow you to flag (or vote) to close as long as the system considers the target answered
That means it must have an answer which has a positive score or is accepted
there is an exception; if the target was posted by the person who asked the duplicate, there is no restriction

@Zanna Nice. It's good to know that the system takes such cases into account.

I wonder if there's any way to edit that question to make it useful in some way
The answers seem generic
But apparently people are getting helped by them
