@Zanna I think knowing what provides their convert command might be enough to figure out what had happened. I can already guess that the command may have accepted multiple input files and processed them together, thus using lots of RAM.
@Kulfy I think it's pretty rare for posts that are clearly spam to get upvoted. I'm not worried now--maybe it was a misclick or, as you suggest, extreme carelessness-- but if we see clear spam posts being upvoted a couple more times, I'd be concerned and mention it to moderators (and in Charcoal if the folks there don't already know).
