I had flagged and downvoted this answer. I had also commented on it, because I wasn't sure if it was really intended as an answer. The OP edited it so that it actually answers the question, but I think that the stuff before the latest edit should be removed, as they are confusing.

However, I think that if I go ahead and edit the answer myself, the user will become more angry than they already are. What should be done in this case?
