As you can see in the Rig Veda Anukramani in my answer here, the sage who heard Rig Veda Book 5 Hymn 6 one from the gods is Shyavashva Atreya. Here is what the hymn says in part:
1 O heroes lordliest of all, who are ye that have singly come
Forth from a region most remote? ...

@KrishnShweta - tale them one story from puranas in some spare time , so they will take interest in you n will listen to you in concentration while your teaching , that also will be some fun for both of you :)
I have to keep on saying them to study because of holidays. Now a days they aren't interested in studies. They want to discuss about the programs organized in their school.
My part selection method now seems to be: 1. Screw around on digikey for a few hours. 2. Give up and go to ee.se\chat. 3. @xx: xxxxxxx 4. I find the part in 10 seconds. And 5, feel like an idiot because you just wasted everyone's time
@KrishnShweta - This chat room is mostly to be used for Hinduism Vedanta & Philosopy discussion . So Its not good to ask other that this in this room , cause the chat is not meant for that . sorry but We have to follow rules :)
@KrishnShweta sorry dont get it wrong , but I myself is also quite new here , and this is Stack exchane network chat , so everyone will be seeing this and any one will raise question . so ..
After the death of Sri Krishna, what happed to his belongings? I heard somewhere that his flute is still hidden in some secret place in India.
Is it true?
@KrishnShweta No I think , as we cant refer from TV , I mean cant actually present the facts from that media here directly so .. but i think we can ask questions about TV Shows.
@TheDestroyer No, I'm not sure whether the Srimad Bhagavatam has multiple recensions or not. Many other Puranas have multiple recensions. Like the Skanda Purana has a Southern recension which is the basis of a lot of the stories related to Muruga's Aaru Padai Veedu.
@TheDestroyer Oh ok, yeah, that textfile I linked to is just a work by the Vaikhanasa Acharya Srinivasa Dikshitar which quotes two supposed verses from the Srimad Bhagavatam.
@TheDestroyer By the way, I hope Srinivasa Dikshitar isn't like Madhvacharya. Almost all the scriptural quotes given by Madhvacharya are untraceable, so a lot of scholars have suggested that he just made up quotes.
@TheDestroyer Srinivasa Dikshitar was the chief priest of the Tirupati temple in the 13th century, so hopefully he had good morals.
@KeshavSrinivasan @TheDestroyer - i have Geeta press hard copy of shree Bhagvat puran with me( recently purchased) so if you need any shloka or any thing for verification purpose from just give me hint , I will try to verify it.
@TheDestroyer Yeah, I think the the same Vaikhanasa family maintains the Tirupati temple generation after generation. Because of the "Garbha Vaishnava" doctrine it's impossible to convert into the Vaikhanasa sect, so as a result the priesthood of Vaikhanasa temples is generally hereditary.
@KeshavSrinivasan Daśavidhahetunirūpaṇa is rare book and can only found in Sanskrit and telugu and too in very few libraries. So, only scanned version is available on that site.
@TheDestroyer I was just referred to this Bhagavatam quote by page 130 of this book: books.google.com/… So I don't know what the subject matter of the work is.
@TheDestroyer Based on what I can make of the Sanskrit, I think it's probably a commentary on the Vaikhanasa Shrauta Sutras or Vaikhanasa Smartha Sutras.
@TheDestroyer Thanks, it is useful. And it also answers what Srinivasa Dikshitar's Dashavidhahetunirupana is about; it says "Dasavidhahetunirupana [part of the Vaikhanasasutratatparyacintamani] (input by Ute Hüsken)".
@TheDestroyer So I was right, it is part of a commentary on the Vaikhanasa Shrauta Sutras or Vaikhanasas Smartha Sutras.
@TheDestroyer But yes, those Sutra texts give instructions on how to do Vaikhanasa rituals. They are texts that are associated with the Vaikhanasa Shakha of the Krishna Yajur Veda, which I discuss here:
As I discuss in this answer, Hindu scripture is made up of two categories, Shruti or that which is heard from the gods, and Smriti or that which is composed by humans authors and passed down from teacher to student via oral tradition. It's well-known that Smriti encompasses many different catego...
@TheDestroyer By the way, you can read the Vaikhanasa Shrauta Sutras, Vaikhanasa Smartha Sutras, and Vaikhanasa Dharma Sutras in English here: gdurl.com/dQOe/download
