@SwiftPushkar Sources in question is not a good idea. If one has sources, why would one ask a question?
This is not a place for debates. Eben if there are debates, people should take care while speaking about other people beliefs and faiths. There is a polite way of debating philosophies.
@TheDestroyer Well no one made fun of any others beliefs in the past. Just refuted the philosophies.

1:51 AM
@TheDestroyer You once quoted nityananda's comment that Shaiva agamas are derived from Vedas portion called shiva samhita. How @KeshavSrinivasan responded. Did he laugh at it? NO. Just disagreeing is enough.
@TheDestroyer Hmm. Now peole are targetting Krishna paramamtma?!!

2:42 AM
@Tezz @TheDestroyer @Pandya Saxena Smriti Parayana required. QPD is again <6 :D

@SreeCharan Haha... Parayanam of Saxena Smriti... it should make <10 :😀😀

1 hour later…
3:50 AM
@Tezz @KeshavSrinivasan Pranayama comes under Hatha yoga. Isn't it?

4:11 AM
@SreeCharan TheDestroyer is not willing to understand, please don't waste your breath!

4:25 AM
@ChinmayaB you should see difference between criticizing and attacking personally. i criticized the phiosophy of Vedanta Desikan but didn't attack his character or something else. Please see difference. If i shouldn't even criticize philosophy. i woun't do that in future.
@ChinmayaB My point is for explanation of my comment on philosophy of Vedanta Desikan. Not about you.

@ChinmayaB If someone is not willing to understand and instead engages in uncritical contortionist activity, they are best ignored as much as possible.

@SreeCharan No you are right only, rickross did not insult all the agamas together. If you go back to the point of contention, you can see that he insulted Pancaratra first and then to cover up said he insulted all agamas.
Also, Google Translate says hi!

4:43 AM
@RakeshJoshi Typo on mobile. just two words "bi"
so, deleted it.
@ChinmayaB I know. You never disrespected any acharya.
@anuvaramban people with prejudice don't see context of messages.

@TheDestroyer finally you realised your folly. I'm thankful to god.

@anuvaramban irrelevant message. I was talking about Krishna and you were talking about me. Great! Keep prejudice on me. I don't waste my time talking to people who have prejudice on me.

@TheDestroyer I'm not saying you are a biased person, i'm saying in that particular conversation with rickross you came off biased. I'm not fool to think anyone is biased always.
@TheDestroyer I appreciate you apologised but because of your support rickross is not realising his folly. that is what i meant.

@anuvaramban I already said that. There are two points. 1) i said laughable protion is not respectful. 2) i gave my opinion on claim of pancharatra Agamas, where i said they might not belong to Vedas, like Rickross but in different words. Now, my 2) may made you to think i was supporting all Rickorss words.
@anuvaramban He has the belief that laughable is not offensive. How can i force him or (any user) to say apology? As a mod, i don't get any such special previlege.
@anuvaramban I personally feel, any apology should be voluntary. I feel personally, saying apology is meaningful only after realizing his mistake.

5:07 AM
@TheDestroyer I'm not asking you to enter as mod and mediate conversation, i asked you to not defend his comments. some examples: chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/message/35926043#35926043
yesterday, by The Destroyer
@anuvaramban Vedas are standard scriptures. Every school of Hinduism revers them. Now one school can't claim there is a shakha for Pancharatra Agamas.

@anuvaramban These arguments are for my 2)

@TheDestroyer I agree which is why i found it to be helping Rickross' escapism when you apologise for him.

not supporting Rickross "laughable".

@SreeCharan Pranayama is a part of many Yogas like Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga etc... It is a common feature...

@anuvaramban Even Keshav aplologized for no reason. So, i aplogized on behalf of Rickoss to reduce animosity.

5:10 AM
@TheDestroyer If you read my comments, i was critical of Keshava's apology as well.
@TheDestroyer I know you are capable of learning and understanding

@anuvaramban Everyone knows it is not necessary.

@TheDestroyer but it doesn't help when you apologise for people who refuse to acknowledge their vitriol.
@TheDestroyer Let us discuss some other thing, clearly you understand and it is also clear rickross is not interested in meaningful debate on such things.

@anuvaramban My intention is reduce animosity, though some words of me unintentionally might have hurt someone. In a flow of speech, sometimes we don't care for words, and but after saying the whole sentence, it may be offensive to others, though true intention is to not hurt someone.

@TheDestroyer cool.

@TheDestroyer నా ఉద్దేశ్యం అది కాదు. నిన్న రాముడి గురించి నెగటివ్ గా కామెంట్ చేసారు. నాకు చాలా బాధగా అనిపించింది. కొందరికి ఎంత చెప్పినా వినిపించుకోరు. My above reply was to first message of yours.

@RakeshJoshi Yes that's because Agamas are Tantras..

@TheDestroyer @Tezz @SreeCharan @SwiftPushkar What the hell is saxena smriti?

@ChinmayaB haha lol..

@Pandya I think it was during the period of Amit Saxena
@ChinmayaB I think you took Saxena Smriti seriously..😀😀

5:41 AM
@Tezz Yeah I thought he wrote an entire rulebook or something

@ChinmayaB haha lol... when I saw your previous message I was laughing loudly...😀😀

@ChinmayaB There is another Upanishad too, TriVajra Upanishad.
Feb 25 at 9:10, by Tezz
MODERATOR TATWAM

Svetaketu the son of Uddalka Aruni went to the sage Upamanyu and asked him 'In the days of Yore Bhava of immeasurable splendor provided you the power to see present,
past and future. I want to know what is happening in this age characterized by the darkness.' To this Upamanyu replied 'Dharma is in the lowest level there in the
present time. Mahavishnu should soon take the incarnation of Kalki to preserve the Sanatana Dharma. The world has been engulfed by the Mleccha Dharma.' Svetaketu again
Feb 25 at 9:31, by Sree Charan
> Swetaketu: Oh sage! How shall this trinity moderate the site and uphold the dharma?

Upamanyu : Dakshina murthy will re-incarnate on earth in the land near Kailasa and creates an account in Hinduism.SE. He will be known by the name Tezz. His display pic will be Dakshina murthy and his answers shall guide people towards enlightment. He will guide this trinity in upholding the dharma. The rudra and Brahma among the diamond trinity shall recognise him by the name Swami Tejananda. Those who recognises him shall earn more reputation on that site.
Feb 25 at 10:00, by The Destroyer
Swetaketu: Oh Sage! How come Keshava handle hectic work of moderation and at same time propagate Dharma, Leela and Bhakti stories of Sri Hari?

Upamanyu : O Son of Uddalka Aruni, When Sri Mahavishnu was sleeping on his serpent bed, **a single hair of strand** from resplendent Lord fallen unto Aindra Khanda. O Swetaketu, thus the boy out of that hair will be called as "Keshava". O Swetaketu, Keshava will propagate the past times of Lord which inculcate Bhakti. To assist him, a tiny amsa of Ananta, the eternal devotee of Srinivasa, prayed to Lotus feet of Sri Hari, born in Trilinga Desa.
@Tezz what is that?

6:00 AM
@TheDestroyer which thing.. ?..

भक्तिले भयले अवर् तरहले कौनै प्रकारले गरी ।
ध्यान सीतापतिको गर्यो पनि भन्या जाइन्छ संसार तरी ।।

Oh... it's verse from Bhãnubhakta Rãmãyana...

@Tezz Really! LOL but why is this whole bunch dedicated to Amit saxena?

@KeshavSrinivasan No chemicals are added. Only sandalwood paste mixed with camphor.

@SreeCharan Don't take it offensive, do we get any smell near Ramanuja's body? /@KeshavSrinivasan

6:12 AM
@RakeshJoshi It is not mummifying. Only mixture of sandalwood and camphor are mixed to give saffron or ochre colour. In mummifying the bodies, blood is removed and many chemicals are added.
@TheDestroyer What offensive. Keshav said he didn't remember the substances. I said. I didn't go there. I seen videos and pictures. Many mistake the body to be an idol of Ramanujacharya. I think no smell is there.
@TheDestroyer Anuvaramban has also been to the temple. Ask him. He will tell.

@SreeCharan Will Sandalwood paste with camphor preserve dead bodies?

@TheDestroyer No.

@SreeCharan then how are they able to preserve "physical body" or "Annamaya Kosha"? Is he still alive?

@TheDestroyer Maybe because he is Ananta himself, you should know that he lived for extraordinary 120 years

@ChinmayaB because he used to ask so many questions in a day...
@ChinmayaB in this room everyone has his own propertym. for eg. Keshava is called Kakabhusunda of Hinduism SE... 😀😀

6:21 AM
@Tezz Kakabhusundi was shaiva right? He isnt Just saying
@Tezz I suppose you will agree with this hinduism.stackexchange.com/q/17528/489 @TheDestroyer

@ChinmayaB No, Kakabhusundi is one of the greatest Rãma Bhakta... Ramcharitmanas mentions it in detail...

@ChinmayaB Yes. That's one possibility.

@Tezz Oh I read about Kakabhusundi crow in Mahakaal temple wall paintings i.e. Mahakaal mahatmya

@TheDestroyer There is an incident when Ramanujacharya defeated 1000 jains in debate. They challenged Ramanujacharya for debate in Tondanur. But the challenge was debate with all the 1000 at a time. Then Ramanujacharya put a condition that there should be a screen separating them. Then the followers of Ramanujacharya held a screen in their hands. Then debate started. All the jains started asking questions at the same time. Then all the people heard the answers at the same.

@ChinmayaB but the reason why Keshava is called Kakbhusund of Hinduism SE is different...

6:24 AM
@TheDestroyer You are astika right?!!! You doubt SITA @Tezz you might be living near sita matas birth place right?

@ChinmayaB Kali Purusha is happy 😀😀
@ChinmayaB when did i doubt Sita?

@TheDestroyer That foolish Misinformation is all about spreading skeptical thoughts and to promte false buddha doctrines

@ChinmayaB What keshav said is correct. They are conflating Shanta with Sita.

@ChinmayaB Yeah doubting Sita is foolishness..
Yeah I live near Sitas birthplace...

@ChinmayaB Cool! There's no Buddhism now. It was almost wiped off from this Bharata Bhoomi. karma will take care of everything.

6:29 AM
Ramanujacharya used his 1000 hoods to answer the questions of Jains. After this debate, the Jains changed to Sanatana dhram and Jainism disappeared from Karnataka are called "Mandyam Iyengars." @TheDestroyer

@SreeCharan 1000 hoods? Did he show his Adi Sesha form?

@TheDestroyer He thought it shouldn't be shown. So answered it from behind the screen. Read above message too.

This ^^
All the questions were asked same time and all the answers were given same time.

@SreeCharan ohh. ok.

@Tezz @TheDestroyer If you disagree then reflect them that with votes
@TheDestroyer This image goo.gl/images/e7v0ZP
Depicts Bhagwad Ramanujacharya answering 1000 questions with thousand hands at the same time
@TheDestroyer Kali purusha?

@ChinmayaB Kali Demon did that. He entered into hearts of people and made many mischiefs. This is one of them.

6:42 AM
@ChinmayaB actually that question is not worth to get even downvote...haha..😀😀 actually sv. believes that man created Gods:
in Shikhandi's Role in Bhishma's death, Mar 2 at 5:47, by sv.
@Tezz My current thinking is that Man created God to suit his needs. Vedas are such. Prayers to elements of nature. I don't believe that if you do yagna, it will rain, good luck to people who do yagna for rains. May or may not work 50-50 chance!
@ChinmayaB also read further discussion in above chat room... ^^^

@SreeCharan whether its mummy or not .. its not allowed ..

6:58 AM
@ChinmayaB I think you wanted to say false Buddhist doctrines instead of Buddha doctrine.

3 hours later…
9:49 AM
@RakeshJoshi Who are you to declare that it's not allowed have you studied all pancharatra agamas? @SreeCharan @TheDestroyer @KeshavSrinivasan @anuvaramban
@Tezz Disgusting
@ChinmaySarupria Both are false doesn't matter

@RakeshJoshi Please provide reference that it is explicitly prohibited otherwise refrain from sensationalist claim
@RakeshJoshi Also, there's no doubt that SriRamanujAcharya is mummified.
@RakeshJoshi your question on the stack suggested otherwise

10:09 AM
@anuvaramban let them provide references if bodies are allowed inside temple premises..
so far we havent seen any such temple . so naturally its something to be known

@KeshavSrinivasan Yes, it is said for who reached to BrahmaLoka as per the Brahma Sutra I've.

@RakeshJoshi It is okay to ask about shastras followed but it is an incredible claim as per your stack question that the mummy in SriRangam may not be SriRamanujAcharya

what is wrong in this question ?
@TheDestroyer this forum is for all hindus and non hhindus who aspire to know about hinduism .

there will be controversial questions asked...

if someone is getting hurt then none can help

In the body of the question you say "it is believed" - it is fact that it is SriRamunujAcharya's mummy that is sanctified there so saying "It is believed" gives false impression that it may not be his sanctified mummy
@RakeshJoshi There is the right way to ask a question concerning things that are not part of your personal faith.

what is the proof that his body is mummifed ? will they allow people to take nails sample and perform DNA Test?
or does temple history specially mention it /?

10:14 AM
@RakeshJoshi There is Historical testimony

then please quote where is it mentioned

@RakeshJoshi Have you been to SriRangam?

@RakeshJoshi Then you would have visited the SriRamanujAcharya Sannadhi right?

i think the temple history is altered and some of the people are not in support of vedanta desikan also

10:21 AM
@RakeshJoshi Irrelevant to what we are discussing and stated so in a completely uninformed manner if i might add.

@anuvaramban if there is some statue then how will i know if its a replica or not

in kanchi there is a replica of paramacharya

@RakeshJoshi I asked if you visited SriRamanujAcharya's sannidhi

so i m not sure about it

@RakeshJoshi The Sannidhi priest will touch and show you in close up i suggest you do that next time you visit.

4 hours later…
1:57 PM
@ChinmayaB Buddha preached Upanishads so you want to say that Upanishads are false?

2:09 PM
@ChinmaySarupria he doesn't consider that Buddha preached Upanishads...

@ChinmaySarupria Funny to know that because he denied existence of soul itself what to say about bramhan.

@ChinmayaB I just answered that Dasaratha Jataka question... what do you think... ?..

@Tezz Good try you've looped rama and valmiki 😂 but I doubt skeptics would accept it, appreciate your try.

@ChinmayaB Ok Thanks!...😀😀

@Tezz@ChinmayaB hai friends

2:19 PM
@Tezz I suggest you to add the fact that buddha was after rama as mentioned on Bhagwatam
@Sakthi Hi
in*

@ChinmayaB I don't think sv. considers Bhagvatam prior to Buddha...

@Tezz@ChinmayaB I have a problem of LONELINESS and it seems to be more problem than other desires can you give me help to get rid of it

@Sakthi hi... how are you?..
@Sakthi what is meant by problem of loneliness?..

@Tezz I feel lone all time even in a crowd and in friends circle

@Tezz Consider meditation on Bhagwan (Narayana) and try to visualize vishwaroopam

2:23 PM
@ChinmayaB Ok..
@Sakthi who is your Ishta Devata?...

@Tezz Maa Kali
@Tezz Why are you asking this is this related to my problem ?

@Sakthi You may practice Pranayama every morning... also pray Sincerly to Maa Kali who is the mother of the Universe... she will surely help you...

@Tezz Thank you pranayama is yoga isn't it how can i learn from home

@Sakthi the problem might be that you didn't realize the seat of Bhagwan in your heart he is always with you, he sits and looks at you consuming fruits of karma like a parrot in cage of samsara

2:29 PM
@ChinmayaB How to Realize it ?

@Sakthi just start from simple Pranayamas like Kapalbhati, Anulom vilom... also you can do Trataka Abhyasa (on a small dot on a paper)...

@Tezz i dont know completely about what you are saying ?
@Tezz what is Kapalbhati, Anulom vilom and Trataka Abhyasa

@Sakthi Read BG meditate on Bhagwan understand karma and meaning of soul

2:35 PM
@Sakthi I like to do it by removing concentration from Indriyas and establish bhagwan in manas.

@Tezz@ChinmayaB thank you can this solve my problem
@ChinmayaB What is manas ?

@Sakthi Main reason for such negative thoughts is tamasa, control tamas by the only means you can, i.e. by controlling food habits
@Sakthi The screen you see when you close your eyes actually its the creator of imagination

@Sakthi your Varna?..

@Tezz varna means caste correct
@Tezz or other meaning

@Tezz Public platform.you'd be criticized if she doesn't like it

2:44 PM
@ChinmayaB I eat Non-veg only 5 to 6 times a year
@ChinmayaB i am a male

@ChinmayaB he is male...

@SreeCharan BTW i can prove by quoting verses from Atri and Harita Smritis that Smritis are the Dharma Shastras only.

@Sakthi yeah similar to caste...

@Sakthi Hi Shakti ..What r u doing here?:) I have just answered one of ur recent questions..Pls have a look..

@Tezz my anscestors were in a trading buisness and still in our state they are well known for Maligai shops
@Rickross ok

2:47 PM
@Sakthi Oh ok..

@Tezz why feel free to tell dont hesitate telling truth is good ?

@Sakthi Dude even onion garlic is not allowed forget meat. I used to eat meat my varna dharma allows it but i left it 4 years back left onion garlic a year ago

@Sakthi you can eat meat also no problem..there is no restriction in eating meat for Kshatriyas, Vaishyas...

@ChinmayaB i dont like onion,brinjal but in my food my mother adds onion and i reject it
@Tezz which varna are you from ?
@Tezz@ChinmayaB do you know ponnar shankar story

@Sakthi what is ponnar shankar story...
@Sakthi Brahmin...😀😀

2:53 PM
@Sakthi good slowly but steadily remove it from your food, and yeah as tezz said pranayama is good practice if done correctly it can enhance your pranavayu its also used for cleaning body if kumbhaka is done 10 times in sandhyavandanam.. I will leave now

@Tezz they were two great warriors that fought with an entire Kshatriya army and it is said that lord krishna was born as man who was handi capped and he shot an arrow and it took thier helmet or Grida in head and they thought it to be equal to death and sacrificed thier lives.

@Sakthi I'm not aware of any such story... is it story based on scriptures... ?...

@Tezz Ponnar was a warrior and Shankar was a warrior those two were brothers and they had a sister and she is worshipped as a sapta goddess( 9 goddess)

Sapta goddess means 7 Goddess....Nava means 9...

@Tezz he is worshipped in south india majorly and the war place is still there but was only in folk and drama manner and now there are books

2:59 PM
@Sakthi Oh ok... I'm not aware of such stories as I live in Nepal...

@Tezz the descendants of those brothers and descendants of that Kshatriyas are now live as enemies
@Tezz there are kshtriya and ponnar shankar descendants in my class

@Sakthi Oh ok!...

@Tezz Do you know dam build by kshtriya king karikala it is made of only sand and our modern civil engineers cannot explain how he was able to build it only with sand
@Tezz she is one of the 9 goddess

3:25 PM
@Sakthi No, I don't know about that.

3:36 PM
@KeshavSrinivasan Btw, what Vishishtadvaitin consider the true self Jivatma or Paramatma. For example if I ask "What is the true self of you" then you'll refer to Jivatma of Paramatma?
@Tezz Namaste!

@Pandya नमस्कारम् । भवतु किं करिष्यति ?...

@Tezz what to do? any आज्ञा? Haha

3:53 PM
@Pandya I'm saying 'What are you doing?' Haha..

@Tezz Doesn't करिष्यति refers to "will do"? (Though I'm not Sanskrit scholar)

Yeah Karishyeti is future tense @Pandya..

@Pandya The Jivatma is the true self. You are the Jivatma. But the true self of the true self is Paramatma.

What you are doing... you will be doing after sometime also.. haha @Pandya..

4:09 PM
@KeshavSrinivasan ok. As we know that body is not the self but the self if Jivatma then how about applying it similarly that the true self is not Jivatma but Paramatma?
@Tezz Haha.
@KeshavSrinivasan Btw, once you had told about a work og philosopher like "100 problems in Advaita" by I think probably Vedanta Desika. I want to know the name/title of his work so-that I can try to find it.

@Pandya the thing is there is basic assumption in Vishistadvaita that there are two different things Jeevatma and Paramatma...
I think its name is Shat Dushani... (not sure)

@Tezz I think @Shakti was referring to Sapta matrikas
Sapta Matrikas manifested as Grama Devatas.
They are popular in South India. They are Amsas of Parameswari.

@TheDestroyer Yeah... may be...

@Tezz Even our Kula Devata is a Grama Devata.

@TheDestroyer Oh ok...

4:14 PM
Anakamma, village diety. Her brother Obulesu (form of Vishnu).

@Pandya It's called the Satadhushani. As far as I know it's never been translated into English, but S.M. Srinivasachari wrote a book called "Advaita and Visisistadvaita" summarizing the major arguments given in the Satadhushani.
@Pandya By the way, the Satadhushani is partially lost; only 66 of the 100 arguments survive.

Obulesu seems like English name....

@Tezz @Pandya you might know. BJP swept Uttar Pradesh. NaMo
@Tezz Obulesa.. isha ending.

Telugu name Obulesu.

4:17 PM
@Pandya The true self of the body is the Jivatma. The true self of the Jivatma is Paramatma.

@Tezz Hope he changes all Sacred cities names to Sanskrit names and build Ram temple.

@TheDestroyer is election going on in India this time?..

@Tezz State elections. 5 states. Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Manipur, Uttarakhand and Punjab.
@Tezz BJP won UP which has population of more than 20 crores and under developed state. It also has rich heritage sites. varanasi, Ayodhya, Mathura, Prayaga and many important cities are located in that state.
@Tezz it also won Uttarakhand, Deva Bhoomi.

@TheDestroyer oh ok nice...!...

@Tezz Only Modi wave. They didn't even declare CM candidate. This time he started campaign in 3rd phase by Visiting Kashi Vishwanath temple and Kala bhairava Temple.
@Tezz Nepal has border of Uttar Pradesh.

4:24 PM
@TheDestroyer does this election select Prime Minister?..
Yeah... I know..

@Tezz No. Only State elections for 5 states. 2019 Elections decide PM.

@TheDestroyer oh ok... can Modi again be PM?..

@KeshavSrinivasan ok. We know that earlier man feel/think that I'm body and he thinks I'm suffering from pain but after knowing/realizing that I'm actually Jivatma and not the body. How about applying similar thing for "Earlier man feel/think I'm Jivatma and but after knowing/realizing that the true self is Brahman. So, I might be Brahman?

@Tezz Everyone thought he wouldn't win UP elections. But he won 324 seats out of 403. With this analysis, he can easily win 2019 elections. UP has 90 Mp seats and he won 70 seats last time. looks like UP believes in Modi.

@TheDestroyer Yes, my brother told me that.

4:29 PM
Also, BJP has good grip on Northern States . I think he can win easily next time.

@TheDestroyer Oh ok... Thanks for information....

@KeshavSrinivasan Thanks for that information. Is it written in Sanskrit?

@Pandya @KeshavSrinivasan @Tezz this guy asking the same question multiple times

@TheDestroyer .. anuravamban is making changes in my questions about ramanuja

@RakeshJoshi You can revert to old version. Swami Vishwananda and Yogi approved it.

4:35 PM
@TheDestroyer haha yeah... I was telling you the same..😀😀 it's very funny....

@Tezz I think he is Telugu person. he incuded Venkateswara and Prayaschita commonly used for Vow or Mokku.
in Telugu states.
@RakeshJoshi You can reject the edits if they conflict your opinion. But try to frame as respectful as possible as some people may feel them as offensive.

@TheDestroyer their acharyas have written enough disrespectful about other acharya what to do about it then /

@RakeshJoshi Let's not bring Acharyas or any others. revert to old version and make an edit saying exact question.

4:40 PM
@TheDestroyer it will be done again and again ... every person is someones guru or acharya so what can we do about it ?

@RakeshJoshi Clearly explain in question and also explain how edit is not your question.
@Sakthi I think your Arjuna question is already asked.

first tell me why others should respect everyone's acharyas? if they follow let them respect why to force on others

@RakeshJoshi Irrespective of whether Acharya or not, we should respect elders or others for their age and Knowledge.

@TheDestroyer i have cited some poits of these acharyas against sankara... do you find it respectful?
vedanta has more cricitism .. its not for feeble hearted people

@Pandya Yeah, you can read it in Sanskrit here: dli.ernet.in/handle/2015/496156

4:46 PM
@RakeshJoshi Personally i felt bad but i can't scold someone who is elder and that too who lives no more. They are Pitri Devatas or divine figures, depending on schools of thoughts.

so there is no such thing as respecting etc in vedanta. it just runs on logic and criticism

@RakeshJoshi anyways, this is irrelevant to your question. You question is whether VEdas allow it or not.

this is relevant because everytime they bring respect etc..

Rickross edited it back. No problem now.

@Rickross does temple agama allow a dead body inside temple premises ?

4:51 PM
@RakeshJoshi @TheDestroyer I have edited it back to the previous version..Thr's nothing offensive or un-civilised in this version..So,thr's no need to be extra-sensitive OR extra-protective..Moreover that edit altered the Q to an extent..And i don't think doing so is allowed..
@RakeshJoshi I don't know..i don't think agamas discuss all this..but i may be wrong

cos no other temple has such thing as far as i know ..

there are samadhis of people but they are not technically temples .

@RakeshJoshi Yes it looks apparently awkard..but since i don't know much about their traditions and practices i won't comment..But i don't think that Agama shsatras discus all this..

A: Did Lord Krishna take away Arjuna's dhanur vidya (archery abilities)?

Be HappyNo it is not like that. I know we have heard stories regarding this. But as per Mahabharata, it just happened in due course of time because all of Arjuna's weapons had fulfilled their purpose. So while escorting the yadus through the forest, he could not fight the robbers.He didn't even succeed t...

there are rules laid down for construction and maintenance also

@RakeshJoshi But why will they mention if preserving dead body is allowed or not?It is not normal afterall
@RakeshJoshi But i may be wrong too..So i don't actually know to be fair..Anyways that is a valid question..even now i am also curious to know

4:57 PM
@Rickross rituals , placements, etc are there. you cannot randomly keep anything as per wish right .
@Rickross will it not create sutaka for those entering temple ?

@RakeshJoshi Apparently yes
Dead bodies don't go with temples but of course Ramanuja is considered as an avatara so rules must be different for him..i don't know as i have said earlier..
