"God knows best the truth of anything that happened; we at best know fragments of multi-generational witness reports." This is wise

Let me search, the most website that I know exist in Persian and Arabic

Suppose you are living your life, then someone comes to you and Say Yazid did a very good job that killed Imam Hussain --peace be upon him-- that way, if I was in his place I was going to do nothing but what he did!"

AliWanted to know how God is crisply defined in the Torah: What is God and what is God not? Crisp Definition of God in Quran(necessary conditions and hence main definition) Chapter Ikhlas or Sūrat al-Tawḥīd (Arabic: سورة التوحيد‎) (Monotheism) in Quran defines what is God and what it is not: ...

Q: Do jews find it blasphemy to be judged by religious laws of the pagan country they live in

AliDoes being judged by non judaic religious law in a non judaic , pagan country considered to fall into the category of Shituff (Associating partners with God) . As jews belive that only God has the power to frame Laws and accepting or participating in the law system of pagan religious laws is like...

And hence the Islamic traditions compare Shrines over graves with idolatry yet some of the Indian muslims living in polytheistic society too have fallen in this trap — Ali 12 hours ago

@Ali many, not only in India, have fallen into this

Ali
It was interesting to get their perspective, they give very similar answers
The prophet pbuh also informed about them doing these things

@Ali judaism.stackexchange.com/a/26121 , you must remember, Judaism was once a true religion of Allah, in other words, Islam

Ali
7:18 PM
i hope you got the message

@Ali yes I know
but one is also to be careful so not to make it so clear that the question is Da'wah

Ali
i never had discussion with jews

or make it sound like debate etc.

Ali
ya

@Ali you can ask if Muhammad is in the Torah? but before this make sure you search their site
to see if it wasn't asked before

@Ali you can always visit their chat room, ask if a certain question is good or not on their site

A: Logo and site design

Al UmmatIn this answer, I am attempting to suggest what the logo and site design should be. I am combining the already existing (and up-voted) suggestions into this one answer. I intend to attempt to make this answer a full suggestion of what this site might look like entirely (every aspect of it). If...

one can seek professional help from blog.styleislam.com/neu-styleislam-avatars-online
i expect them not to charge for this open free site

7:38 PM
Stack Exchange has a professional designer on staff; once the site goes public, Jin will be doing the actual styling of the site.

Ali
hi @El'endiaStarman

but he typically takes feedback from the site itself.

Ali
Hope you are safe from the storms
thats great @goldPseudo

@goldPseudo how you worded that made it sound like you were saying that Jinn would take care of the site

@AlUmmat he'll be doing the actual site design, but he'll usually try to base it on the suggestions we make in the meta.

Ali

@El'endiaStarman hope you are safe from storms

@goldPseudo is it only one person who designs sites?

@Ali Yes, I am quite safe from storms. I live and go to school within the same square mile, so I just walk everywhere. :P
@AlUmmat Yes. The SE company is looking for another graphic designer to help.

Ali
@El'endiaStarman you are in school?
nice to have you here

@Ali Yes, I am. A college, to be more precise.

Ali
okk
Here school means primary education
Are you doing Engg\Science

7:46 PM
@Ali Where's "here"? In the United States, school typically means primary through secondary, although it is often used in a more colloquial sense for tertiary education.

Ali
India

@Ali Computational Mathematics. Kinda like Computer Science's counterpart.

Wow

@Ali Everyone has a reaction like that. It's amusing.

7:49 PM
Ok time to sleep
@owari walekumassalam
fi amanallah(PEACE) to ALL

@Ali G'night!

@owari Wa Alaikum salam
@Ali Wa Alaikum salam

Huh, so "Wa Alaikum salam" is both a greeting and a farewell?

@El'endiaStarman yep.

@El'endiaStarman Actually AsSalam is a name of Allah!

7:56 PM
it means the peace

The full version of the greeting also bring in the name of the holy prophet and his household! peave be upon them all (at least according to Shia Ahadeeth)
@AlUmmat and @goldPseudo do you know how the Sunni brothers interpret it?
I mean the full version
yes.

@owari not sure
you mean the translation?

I mean in the same sense that we say AsSalam is the name of Allah and we use it in our greeting, what is His mercy and then his blessings?
You see mercy is single but blessings is a plural name
رحمت vs برکات

In the salams we are asking Allah to put His peace, mercy and blessings on the person we are saying it to

but we do not say His Peace but the Peace
السلام not سلامه

8:02 PM
@owari yes

And the Peace is Allah, isn't it?

the full: السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته
@owari no, His peace, the peace He bestows
not Him in essence

While the holy prophet was lifted up to the Heavens Allah told him AsSalamu Alaika Ya Ahmad>
the holy prophet answerd: O my God, you are the Peace, from you is the Peace, for you is the peace, and back to you is the Peace
الهی انت السلام، منک السلام، و لک السلام و الیک یعود السلام
Because it was nonsense to say Peace be upon you O Allah!

@owari you see, "from you is the peace" meaning from Allah
and in the salams we ask Allah to bestow his peace

Yes I see!
But why we don't say His peace then?
Don't others have also peace?
Maybe not

8:07 PM
not in the salams when we meet people

How to make sure?

of course we can always ask Allah for anything, make dua for your self or other
for He is the close, and He does hear our Dua

For example cannot we say in greeting o Brother! You are in peace from me, that is, I will not bothering you?
When we recite Salam to the holy prophet, is that always Allah's peace?
TO be more explicit, is there any difference between saying peace be upon him and Allah's peace be upon him?

yes I know that, it is always encouraged
But I meant to say the difference between علیه السلام and سلام الله علیه

8:12 PM
are you talking about the salam on the prophet (peace and blessings be upon Him) in the tashahud in the salat?

Ok, sorry, I think myself should search for that either, so let skip over it
NO I was talking in general

@owari ok
