I can write a userscript that makes certain elements larger, certain actions easier to do, etc (For example, its fairly easy for me to make message replies in chat happen on double-clicking the message anywhere)

I'm using a Huawei K3565 USB 3G dongle on my Raspberry Pi.
Using wvdial and sakis3g I can connect to my current provider (GiffGaff) - but only for a few seconds.
For example, I can ping 3 - 4 times, or download approx 2...
Yes, there are logs for everything.
If you connect a new device to the Pi then the module being loaded will show in dmesg. Eg;
$ dmesg | tail
[16037.102139] Initializing USB Mass Storage driver...
[16037.102299] scsi4 : usb-storage 2-2:1.0
[16037.102422] usbcore: registered new interface drive...

The flag probably was someone testing out the flag interface. Or someone who was genuinely offended. It wasn't me :p Actually, it can't be me, since my flags automatically delete the message (learned that a few weeks back when I was testing the flag interface. Whoopsies :p)
