@MartinSleziak The tag was removed.
The tag was mentioned in this room before: chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/3740/2019/9/11
Although there are more questions in the tag, it still can be removed almost without bumping:

Currently 14 out of 16 questions tagged have also tag - so after retagging those two remaining questions, the tag would be gone without any additional bumping.
For those 14 questions, if a moderator merges into , that would mean no other changes in tags and also no bumping.
The two questions without (integration) are:

Q: Infinite integral of Bessel function (2nd kind) product Gaussian

Curiosity I'm trying to evaluate the following infinite integral: $\int_{0}^{\infty} x e^{-\alpha x^2}Y_0(\beta x) \,dx$ If we apply the general result in Gradshteyn & Ryzhik (eq. 6.631.2 on page 706), with $\mu=1$ and $\nu=0$ then the result should be $\int_{0}^{\infty} x e^{-\alpha x^2}Y_0(\beta x) ...

Q: Elliptic Integral from Gradshteyn and Ryzhik

GordonIn my course of work I came across the following elliptic integral, and found its solution in Gradshteyn and Ryzhik: $$\int_{b}^{u} \frac{\mathrm{d} x}{\sqrt{(a-x)(x-b)(x-c)(x-d)}} = \frac{2}{\sqrt{(a-c)(b-d)}}\,F(\lambda, r),$$ where $$\lambda = \arcsin \left(\sqrt{\frac{(a-c)(u-b)}{(a-b)(u-c)}...

Q: Why are the moments of my random variable infested with Fibonacci polynomials?

Niel de BeaudrapPreamble I've stumbled upon (a particular variant) of Fibonacci polynomials in my work. The polynomials I'm encountering are of the form $$ F_k(x) = \begin{cases} \qquad\qquad 1, & k=1 \\ \qquad\qquad 1, & k=2 \\ F_{k-1}(x) + x\!\; F_{k-2}(x), & k > 2 \end{cases} $$ giving rise to a sequence of ...

In mathematics, the Fibonacci polynomials are a polynomial sequence which can be considered as a generalization of the Fibonacci numbers. The polynomials generated in a similar way from the Lucas numbers are called Lucas polynomials. == Definition == These Fibonacci polynomials are defined by a recurrence relation: F n ( x ) = { 0 ,...

@quid Do you think that it is better to remove manually, or will moderators simply merge it into (so that it is done without bumping)?
This tag was disccused in this room yesterday and today I also added a short summary.
Also, Xander Henderson recently brough up vs. , he mentioned it also in the mods' office. (Other tags from the linked post might be worth considering too.)
Sorry that I am pinging you personally - I know that any moderator could deal with this, the past experience shows that among the mods you handle the tag-related issues most frequently.

@MartinSleziak I can merge, no problem. Is it ready for merge or is there a retag of something needed beforehand?
