Q: Should we merge a tag used more than the master tag?

TheSimpliFireScrolling through the list on tag synonyms on MSE, I found that there were two tags that were suggested to be merged with their master tags which were used less than them. Note that both are still pending. 740 questions are tagged lipschitz-functions whereas its suggested master, holder-spaces, ...

Q: Square integrable Maass forms are cusp forms, local version near a cusp

bartoLet $Y$ be a finite volume quotient of the upper half plane. I can show that a weight $0$ nonharmonic Maass form is cusp iff it is square integrable. One direction uses only local information near a cusp: if $f$ vanishes at $\mathfrak a$, then $f$ is $L^2$ in a neighborhood of $\mathfrak a$. (Us...

In mathematics, a Maass cusp form, Maass wave form, Maaß form, or Maass form is a function on the upper half-plane that transforms like a modular form but need not be holomorphic. They were first studied by Hans Maass in Maass (1949). == Definition == Let k be an integer, s be a complex number, and Γ be a discrete subgroup of SL2(R). A Maass form of weight k for Γ with Laplace eigenvalue s is a smooth function from the upper half-plane to the complex numbers satisfying the following conditions: For all γ = ( ...
