clearly i don't play any instrument... but also, thinking, i suppose the only instruments that people use amplifiers with are guitars and electric keyboards

and maybe i'm wrong about the keyboards...

I've had someone suggest to me to make a design for violin buskers, for her daughters. But the information on the violin freq response I've found to date seems a bit ambiguous . I don't recall doing that, we talked about Russian and Ukrainian rockets being better in cold weather, but i apologized as i can totally understand why that would get under their skin.

Sorry, I meant my icon design, or whatever it's called. I have music playing softly when I'm working, tho there are times I turn to silence when I'm proofreading when the community newspaper I volunteer for is producing out a new issue.

We've got a 2-day "CubeSat Innovation Workshop" at Uni of NSW (UNSW) coming up, and also the NASA Space Apps Challenge in the second half of April. I've managed to get permission for a 5 min presentation on PongSats and MiniCubes.

oh, that sounds really cool. :] but, 5 min though? how can a person give a meaningful presentation in only 5 minutes?

My idea for the NASA Space Apps is for a biological digestive system to process ore in space, though I don't think it will fly, as most of the contestants are practised in software engineering. Earlier this month I went to Melbourne for 6 days for the Australian International Aerospace Congress - 2 days in Melbourne, and 2 days at the Avalon Defense and Aerospace Airshow, with morning presentations, and gawking at the lovely boy's toys the rest of the day. ;-)

i ran across something with a bit of that concept a few days ago... i think it was using cyanobacteria

i wanted to look into it more, as it would sure be super useful if that was viable enough to present as one of the technologies in Moonwards.

are you thinking of something like that, or is it different?

I didn't apply to present during the presentations submissions period, nor was I invited to present, but I emailed the organisers last week, and proposed 5 mins to best get my chance. I really want to just inform them about PongSats and MiniCubes. Also I'm not a uni student,just a voc college student, so I didn't want to push it in such august company.

it is a good sign that they are flexible. I think if you have done proper research and can defend your concept, they won't overlook you.

I didn't originate the idea. I read it about the concept in the ?Dark Knights Trilogy by Iain F Hamilton. He uses the concept in his "live' cities in space.
