My intial appoarch was to consider if $x \geq \, 0$ then we could rewrite as follows:
$$\frac{dy}{dx} = -t \sqrt{|x|}dt$$
Then I considered if $x \, \leq 0$ we have the following:
$$\frac{dy}{dx} = t \sqrt{|x|}dt$$
