tersit: he wiped
digitōs adspersōs: wetted fingers > wet fingers
in capite puerī: on the boy's head
paululum: a little (noun); very short, small (adjective)
I cannot figure out how paululum fits into all of this. Is it the neuter noun or an adjective?
and wiped the wet fingers on the head of a boy.
