@Cerberus Scant information on it is online, although one reviewer says it's a tripel. I too would like to try that beer.

1 hour later…
5:01 AM
@cmw If you ever come here, I'll order it from Paris!

5:32 AM
@Cerberus Perhaps after the sigma variant subsides...in 2026.

4 hours later…
9:29 AM
@cmw I do wonder how they plan to name the 25th variant. Aleph?
No, wait, it'll actually come sooner, given the skipped Greek ones.

5 hours later…
2:26 PM
@Cerberus I'm not that into beer, but I would need to try this. Ironically, I did buy some Guinness the other day to have around. I tend to only want it during the colder months.

@Adam Stouts are great during the winter time. A nice coffee/chocolate/oat/whiskey stout just feels warming.

2:50 PM
@cmw Definitely! Not that it's very wintery here, but still cool enough for the heaviness of a stout.

3:31 PM
@cmw Perhaps once everyone else is dead, you could come.
@Adam Hmm that's a heavy beer!

cmw
4:13 PM
@Cerberus You think so? I enjoy it, but I don't find it as heavy a quite a few other stouts or ales.

@cmw Hmm maybe I'm easily intimidated.

cmw
@Cerberus I guess dogs aren't supposed to drink too heavy a beer.

1 hour later…
5:43 PM
@Cerberus Pairs well with heavy metal!
My wife likes to say it's almost like a meal.

4 hours later…
9:59 PM
@cmw Oh, well, there are so many things one isn't supposed to do...
@Adam That sounds good!

@Cerberus Who makes that beer in the image? I found a brewer called Thirsty Dog that makes a trippel beer by that name, but the labels are different.

@Adam I think it was some brewery in Paris.

It is the Brasserie de l’Être:
They seem to be saying that they brew the beer themselves.
@Adam This looks good!

1 hour later…
11:23 PM
@Cerberus Ahh, akin to a microbrewery here in the US. I suppose it would be hard to get this over here.

11:40 PM
@Adam Right, the number of smaller breweries seems to have exploded over the past, I don't know, ten to twenty years?

@Cerberus Super common now, yea. Most cities over a certain size seem to have at least one.
