Q: Do ranked games matter in the pre-season?

Currently, League of Legends is in between seasons but the ranked queue is still active. Does playing ranked games serve any purpose at the moment? Will it carry over directly into the next season or be used for seeding the initial rank?

@badp They are, but 90+% of their content is from the original games, meaning that those tags have to be policed to make sure people are using them for their intended purpose.

You could say they aren't - and so long as we're talking questions then I can agree with you that using the specific tag isn't a problem.

It's messier when you answer a generic question with alternate-versions-only stuff. (Something not entirely unreasonable)

@Powerlord I assume that people who know what they're talking about (e.g. answerers, voters) also check the tags.

Q: Stadium has no light

I installed FIFA 13 yesterday and everything was OK. But today when i started to playing there is no light in stadiums and players are playing in darkness. I thought it could be because of Vsync so tried to disable it but even changing Frame rate did not solve them problem.

@badp My typical thinking on this issue is that you can probably just use the base-game tag and make the version specific issues clear in the question for stuff like a bonus dungeon in a reissue or whatever. You should only really need game-name-platform for cases where the game is dramatically different in a reissue or alternate release, such as, say, the DS remakes of FF3/4. But I'm not particularly adamant about that threshhold, so feel free to do whatever.

But I will say Apple is better than basically any retailer on the planet at making christmas season shopping in their stores bearable and quick - so long as you aren't getting panic attacks from claustrophobia in the crowd itself, you'll be in and out of there faster than just about any other store you could shop in.

The whole ezpay thing was a big deal 8 years ago, but it's de rigeur now I guess
