A: Is there any way to access the contents of an item without equipping it?

If you want to take an item OUT of a container, then the answer is no. The container has to be in your hand for you to manipulate the items inside it. However: IF you use the Consume tool on a container, the player will eat some food or drink some water or take some pills out of the container, ...

There was a guy yesterday that had an empty rifle he was hitting me with, and I had a meat cleaver.

On the first hit he was bleeding, and I landed two of the flurry attacks on him.

I had to run away at the end with internal bleeding.

It was a joke.

Every time you restack the top one you have a chance to get a new recipe

Could be a bug related to the fact that on graduated sites, the create tags privilege comes after the retag privilege...and the check here isn't taking that into account.
