Q: Can ilvl 59-60 items compete with ilvl 61-63 items?

With 1.0.5, items now roll affixes based off of the level of the monster that dropped them, rather than based off of the ilvl of the item. However, I'm not exactly sure that I understand what this means. Does this mean that an ilvl 59 amulet dropped by a level 63 monster will have the exact sam...

Q: Is there any way to access the contents of a shopping bag/pack without equipping it?

When I find a shopping bag containing items, I can see the image of its contents by hovering over it, but is there any way to actually get at the contents without having to equip it?

I can get behind Orcs Must Die as a recomendation, but it's a mix of pure tower defense and first-person shooting of what goes past tower defenses

Of all the qualities one might look for in a tower defence game, graphics is usually least of my worries

so it might not be your piece of cake.

Sanctum is a really overlooked game.

It's fantastic.

It's free though, which in my opinion is a pretty good quality. It also has pretty good depth and replayability

You can play as either attackers or defenders.

And you can basically build new units out of hundreds of parts.

And you can make as many as you want.

Just delete the profile, and create a new one, and you're fine.

You just overwrite them for yourself, not globally.

Oh.

It's actually a good feature, because the pre-genn'ed units only use Tier 1 items. So you can upgrade them as time goes on.

@fbueckert It makes them more expensive though, I think you're better off saving their upgraded versions as new units.

Dungeon Defenders is like my favourite game ever right now.

Sanctum is awesome.

Q: Is there any way to access the contents of an item without equipping it?

When I find an item which contains other items, I can see the image of its contents by hovering over it, but is there any way to actually get at the contents without having to equip it? Some items can be placed in the crafting area to get their contents, but that also destroys the item for scraps.

Default action when picking something up is put it in your hands.

@agent86 Some of the DLC is kind of light fare, like Nyte Blayde is just extra costumes/vehicles, but Gangstas in Space, and The Trouble with Clones all add a decent amount of gameplay and even a little bit of story (re: Clones) to go through. Genkibowl is rather light-ish as well, but the minigames it adds are a total blast.

Depending on where the item can fit.

@GnomeSlice When you first start out, you don't have pants, or a backpack.

@SaintWacko Yeah, so just drop your crowbar on the ground, fish out the stuff you want and collect it all back up.

I start with Medic to find a free first aid kit.

@agent86 I'll put it this way: I liked it enough on 360 that when I got SR3 on Steam, I spent the money to own it all a second time.

@fbueckert Eagle Eye also gives you a free multitool knife at 100% condition.

If you have electrical skill and the recipes, you can repair it and make it more comfortable.

Just put them one at a time in your hand or bag and then drop them again

@fbueckert Yes, but you have to actually put it on your person to store it.

And stacked recipes aren't all the same, you have to unstack them.

@GnomeSlice Yeah, that I knew.

You can also use an exploit with at least two recipes to generate an infinite number of new recipes, but that's dumb.

My last game, I didn't find many towns, but I did find lots of shacks in the forest.

SO much gear.

Even found a scope and a rifle sling, but I couldn't figure out how to add them to my rifle.

@fbueckert Add the rifle, sling, and a multitool knife to get rifle with sling

Then add the rifle with the sling to the scope and the multitool again.

I've only found gnus twice, never with any bullets.
