@Fredy31 Nightingale if you're a fan of The Art in Myst
the whole Realm Card thing almost like writing Linking Book and really interested to see how far they can push it
also not sure if it was mentioned at Gamecom or what but Persona 3 Reloaded's release date was announced. it releases a day after Granblue Fantasy ReLink

@Fredy31 that said, I think that very animation IS used during her character trailer
nope, my bad. Probably it was an edit someone made

Probably I was misremembering because it would make a lot of sense.
That walking style would be perfect during her burst animation.

Immortals of Aveum... the swan song for my beloved gaming PC Astaroth?
(Ryzen 9 5950X, GeForce RTX 3090)

@bwDraco I think your PC is good enough, judging from those requirements
Almost six years in and one upgrade after another, I think it's time to start to start looking into a new PC build.
@Nzall Well, the game runs just fine, but this being the first game to fully leverage Unreal Engine 5 technologies including Nanite and Lumen, it's a bellwether for what's next.
But DLSS is required, even if at the Quality preset, to hit a consistent 60+ fps at 1440p.
If disabled, I can't hit 60 fps. Frame rates typically float somewhere around 40-55 fps.
And this is with an RTX 3090.
Reviews are mixed, and understandably so. It's mainly an issue of hardware requirements.
I have no plans to return the game for refund (prepurchased on Steam).

> So... I'm at a crossroads here. The current hardware is sufficient to run the game reasonably well, but Immortals of Aveum is right up at the limits of what Astaroth is able to handle. Building a new high-end gaming PC, however, would require about $5,000 and a huge amount of setup time. The potential improvement is not sufficient to justify the time, cost, or physical space requirements.
(message to my mom)
In any case, with CPU bottlenecking and the aging X370 chipset (PCIe 3.0 et al.) likely to limit the usefulness of any further graphics card upgrades, Astaroth seems to be near the end of its life.
@bwDraco What variety of dollars is that? Because there's no way it is 5000 USD
or even CAD
Yes, USD.
RTX 4090 and all.
You can build an entire 4090 machine for 3000 USD
without many if any compromises
I was thinking $4k to $5k with 7950X, 64 GB of RAM, and similar.
In any case, I'm at work now, so see you later.

@Wipqozn You're probably older now than I was when you kept calling me old. HOW THE TURNTABLES
Too young to recognize SEGA made consoles? I'm like 70% confident that there are kids out there who don't know that SEGA even makes games.

@Sterno Almost certainly

Q: Debugging station rating — it is 53% when it should be around 82% — what's missing?

ZakiMaI followed the OpenTTD Wiki, which explains how ratings are calculated, and also cross-checked with the implementation. According to this table, I should get around 210 points, which should map roughly to 82%. I'm in 1961 and use trains with 144 max speed Vehicles are older than 2 years Two tra...
