@Yuuki Isn't the default behavior that if you're multiclassing with multiple spellcasters, that the spells you unlock at level up use the spell slots of the caster that unlocked the spell? As in, if you learn a spell as a Sorcerer, that will always use sorcerer slots, and only spells you learned when leveling up as a warlock use Warlock slots

Multiclassed spellcasters use their combined casting class levels to determine their number of spell slots except in the case of Warlock since their spellcasting feature is technically a separate feature. Even so, you can use your spell slots gained through Pact Magic (Warlocks) or Spellcasting (everyone else) to cast any spells that you know from any class.

There's no such thing as class-specific spell slots. You have Spellcasting spell slots and Pact Magic spell slots.

Bards, Clerics, Druids, Sorcerers, Wizards are full casters and every level in those classes count as 1 for a multiclassed caster's spell slots. Paladins and Rangers are half-casters and levels in those classes are halved (rounded down) for multiclassed casters.

So if your build is Sorcerer 3/Bard 5, you have the spell slots of a level 8 multiclassed caster, which is 4/3/3/2.

Whereas a Paladin 3/Cleric 4 has the spell slots of a level 5 multiclassed caster.

A bit of correction for clarity: when I say "multiclassed caster", I should mean "Spellcasting caster". A Warlock/Sorcerer is not a "multiclassed caster" as described previously.
