Another argument for capping downvotes, most new people have 0 rep, so downvoting them into oblivion for a bad question doesn't do anything unless we get negative rep

Stack Overflow has different problems brought on by having a billion times more traffic and activity than all of the rest of SE combined. Trying to extrapolate experiences there to here is pointless and detrimental

For instance, on Stack Overflow you can't even ask a question as an unregistered user because experience there has shown unregistered users are a plague, and it became unmanageable to treat each one as a special flower

Is there any reason to go beyond the Honored Status with the Black Prince? I already have the quest to get the 10 sigils of power and 10 sigils of wisdom. Unless having them exalted will be needed to progress the legendary quest line in the coming patches

@sjohnston I wouldn't say that; I would say that a negative experience on Stack Overflow is not an indicator of what should be done on the rest of the network, though. The thrust of SO moderation is to deal with problems as quickly as possible without much, if any, regard to whether the person asking has a good time. Not so here. Or to put it another way, when a question does really poorly here, it's almost certainly a terrible, no good question.
