@MBraedley I'm not huge on WFH in my current place... but I might take a position with WFH and a high enough pay and then just buy a house. Convert a spare room into an office.
I was making 110k at the time of my dismissal. I'm sure I can get more if I shop around, especially if I look at American companies.

That's what I was doing at now ex-employer. I went in like 90% of the time, but woudl WFH at times.

Would like to continue to be allowed to move to Colorado
Would like to continue to tell recruiters "Sorry but my current position is fully remote and I am not interested in anything less than that at this time."
(but also we're full remote within the united states and select states only to be clear)
(I don't think the company is interested in figuring out Canadian income tax etc)
Though last I checked the list of disallowed states is pretty small
I think, Hawaii Oklahoma and a few more?
I forget exactly, all tax shit
We did already have field people in the states where we do business since we are an insurance company so out the gate we were set up to allow out of state remote work
Todo still: figure out how to move to Ft. Collins or something
Pros: a few hours drive to skiing Cons: 9:30 stand up is now 7:30
